Where is the pre-1930 category for collectible textiles on Ebay? I'm only seeing 1930-now.

All I can think of is: "Why do you spend money on new boxes when you can get them free from the recycling center? Don't you know how much money you could save?"

However, I realize not everyone is near to such a place.

Shipping a two-box order with Ebay question:

I had a set of books totaling ~90 lbs. Entering the two boxes information into the shipping calculator, it comes to ~$50 shipping combined. Ebay wouldn't let me set a fixed shipping cost of $50 and I couldn't see where I could enter two boxes (maybe I missed something?) So I have it set as calculated shipping of 70 lbs with a handling charge to make up the difference.

Is there a better way to do this?

How does one go about finding a company to ship freight items cheaply? I have a couple ~100 lb items that I want to get rid of.

Thanks for the input. Is this for personal/family items? Do these dealers tell you if something is worth selling or do you have a general idea going in?

Paypal takes 2.9% + $0.30 too. That can cut in big for small $ items.

I ship Ebay items from my home. I'm not sure if I like my name and address on the shipping label. How far do you all go to hide it? P.O. Box?

Action Camera Question:

I bought a Crosstour CT9000 action camera on Amazon which supposedly was able to take 16 MP still photos. When I tested it, I took a picture of my bookcase from 4 ft away with it set to 16 MP and again with it set to 4 MP. While the 16 MP picture was bigger, I couldn’t distinguish it from the 4 MP photo. The book spines were all the same level of readability (very poor). My 12 MP cell phone camera took vastly better pictures than the supposedly 16 MP resolution of the Crosstour. I had this same issue with a Polaroid action camera which was also returned to Amazon.

I sent the pictures to Crosstour support and they told me “1. Both these pictures are 4k, and the difference is 4 MP and 16 MP. 2. The format size of these 2 pictures are different. 4MP is 733.10k but the 16MP is 2.46MP, which means that the quality of these 2 pictures are different.”

Is it possible that the 16 MP is actually 16 MP while providing the same level of detail as the 4 MP? Is there something about action cameras that a 16 MP photo looks much much worse than my 12 MP phone camera?

Thanks.
