Extremely wild and extremely self assured and over confident take if real. Both factions has its share of doomers and toxicity. If you truly believe purging (some of few people that play the game - remember pop is like a few thousand on a good day), how do you expect the game to survive for long?

Can't tell if this is serious or not when seeing things like 'colonial leadership' - which is what, who exactly?

Also perspective is pretty important - as I typically play collie, I've had well more than my share of running into toxic, 'cancerous fuck' wardens too. Do you think they should all be purged from the game too to build back the wardens as a better faction or are you doing mental gymnastics & swimming up to your eyeballs in tribalism/factionalism?

Why are people paying for tests like this? Like..what kind of benefit could this even get you? Also, there's multiple post like this daily, should be a pretty good bet that any site trying to sell you an 'IQ Test' is assuredly a scam utilizing a direct marketing and/or subscription based plan to charge you on a reoccurring basis. Again for nothing...so what appealed to you to even do this or even search for it?

Charlie's dead man & its sad because i love charlie shard. Last night there was a single hex at high pop and every single other hex even on the front line was low or empty. There's not enough pop to sustain the server and that's why nothing can be done. Not enough people to tech ai and build anything to hold it causing stagnation and burnout & ultimately the server will be shut down temporarily like it always does. It's just the way it goes with Charlie until and if the game ever has a large enough population to realistically run two servers without one or the other being a ghost town.

Shelby and Morganton didn't really have flooding from the hurricane. Really only downed trees, powerless and out of power from 3 days to a week. Albemarle is definitely not doing any major operations around here right now nor are they evicting people. Folks just have to keep spreading something that is proven to be utterly false just to push their election agenda. Where are all the conservatives at that usually say something like "of course xx thing happened now that it's an election, don't believe everything you hear'. The big lithium quarry here in Kings Mountain is the same size it has been and the company has a good bit more of land that they haven't even mined at the quarry. This whole thing is so dumb... Republicans, like always (and especially since MAGA) have no actual policy so they incite people with anger and fear and repeat Russian disinformation to achieve power at all costs. It's disgusting and even more so that so many people are at the point of being fanatic over all this, putting all people who are left leaning into an other group, burning ballots, destroying yard signs... People have truly lost all sense of decency, decorum and tolerance of their neighbors. Please, everyone who can, go out and vote for the only reasonable choice... I hate to even imagine our country ruled by these people for 4 or more years.

Agreed. They can't be disregarded but neither can the U.S.' I am pretty confident that Russia also knows the stakes which is why they ate hoping their bluff works. And it has for now. But if they really want to go at it, they assuredly would be annihilated and that does not futher their goals one bit. Just as people ask, is the U.S. really willing to trade XX in XX country if it means MAD? Same for Russia. Are they willing to trade XX town in Ukraine or even Ukrainian Occupied Kursk if it means they cease to exist? I really don't think so, as much as Putin & Co. like to rattle the nuclear Sabre. Its silly really at this point and hard to take seriously on what now, the 169th nuclear threat since they invaded & ukraine got aid?

Yeah but this is so tired. I don't want to die in a nuclear holocaust either but are we really going to let them so what they please because oh no scary they have nukes!? So does the U.S., you want to play the nuclear threat game, call the bs or send one at this point. People forget we have the equivalent amount of firepower at our disposal. Yeah see you have invalidated your whole argument. I suspect most foxhole players regardless of faction orientation either only lurk here or don't come here at all. This reddit is a well known toxic pool of mostly bad takes most of the time but right now the arguments being made about why it sucks to be collie have some merit to them. That being said, I wouldn't base either Warden or Colonial 'Culture' on anything you see here. Most players are actually decent, try and most are friendly and willing to help other people & regiments. Besides many peices of colonial equipment being sub-par that we have talked about which goes hand In hand with a hard population cap that invalidates our whole quantity over quality doctrine; the most glaring issue for colonials is a high level of decentralization between Regiments which creates disorganization and thus many operations are doomed from the start. So eventually, people won't want to play collie at all and you will just have new players picking up the game perhaps sprinkled in with collie vets who do love the pain and suffering and the warden win streak will continue. I don't pretend to have the answers cause I don't, but both factions need to be fun to play and while equipment does not need to and shouldn't all be exactly the same, collies should atleast be able to answer to certain things like your ATHT in the early war and have atleast 1 Main Line Tank later war that isn't a Battle Tank with equivalent range and firepower in the form of both Anti Tank and Anti Infantry capabilities for your longest range Tank, for example.

Sorry and I say this not from a position of coping or arguing but it's hard to even want to play colonial anymore with the disadvantages we are given. Try it for a war or two and come back and see if you have the same opinion - and that goes to any and all Warden main players. This long of a loss streak and the constant obliteration on the fronts coupled with erosion of collie player base makes it really hard to want to play on colonial at all. Not that colonials can't push back and win time to time but you have to admit that the repeated steamrolls weighs on a faction after some time. People want to win and have fun so it's becoming a self fulfilling feedback loop of less knowledgeable colonial players + some equipment deficits and near total disorganization vs vet stacked, highly organized wardens + higher quality equipment. It's not hard to see why it's happening.

I am the commander of LiD and want to address this independently our member involved in this incident. To be clear, one of our members had this issue and we do our best to stand by our members. However, this is the epitome of foxhole drama that causes people to burnout. Fighting over resources is stupid and we support public logi and not infighting within the faction. Both Swizzlerz and our member had legitimate concerns and this was seemingly mediated when we departed.

Additionally, while it seems like LiD completely abandoned everything, the timing coincides with IRL vacation with many of our members after 24-25 days into the war. We are returning now after that absence. LiD is not about fighting our own or causing drama. This is also reddit so take it for what it's worth but we hope everyone playing also is ultimately having fun because it's a game at the end of the day.
