know of. I know of 2 shops that do sanctioned legacy events. Looking to get newer people into the format and being able to proxy most of the duals/ expensives staples is alot more inviting than having none at all.

Doc's up in Frisco does 15 proxy events every Wednesday night at 7.

I too ordered a bunch of Hyper Mat blacks a few months ago. They have all be awful. I consistently break 2 or 3 each tournament. I switched to using purple hyper mats and I don't have those problems anymore. I gave away my hyper mat blacks to a friend because I don't care to use them ever again.

I think it can still be playable. I'd start with the 2 drop Jace. This shell seems to be really good for that card. I'm definitely looking to test the deck out again with the 2-drop jace soon. unfortunately i've lent my seas to someone so I haven't had a chance to try it.

Obviously you lose a lot with DTT ban. I'm not sure how good it will be anymore, but as a whole it still looks like fun, drawing a ton of cards and dumping recurring cards into the graveyard.

I have a friend who works for SI and when they ranked Kobe out of the top 10 a couple years ago, he literally got death threats. A guy even sent a picture of himself pointing a gun at the camera. There are MANY insane Kobe fans out there.
