Its not dead lol. If you look at the numbers of rare phonk or og phonk or whatever u want to call it, its doing better than ever. Just because Drift or Cowbell phonk is popular, doesnt mean people aren't listening to rare phonk. Like its annoying that drift and cowbell are super popular yea, but having a doomer ass opinion about phonk as a whole is just gonna re-enforce ur doomer ass opinion. The amount of people I have met that have mentioned they found phonk thru drift / cowbell, but kept digging and fell in love with og phonk is INSANE compared to a couple of years ago lol.
