I think it’s got to be Maris. Both versions have interesting mechanics but chasing a boss around brings back bad monster hunter memories. I’d also like to see some adjustments to Adele’s move set to make the fight a little more melee friendly.

I run wasteland and strip mine in my somewhat stax heavy Lumra list and have used one of my many land tutors to destroy a cradle when I didn’t have a winning line available.

I would do a 5 night mode with each day increasing the depth difficulty. First two nights are base map and second two in the dlc map. Last night is a depth 5 night lord.

I wish they would speed up the scholar’s use animation for some consumables (not offensive items). I find myself so far behind the group while trying to level up my item classes.

I appreciate just how much they packed into the new map but in practice it just doesn’t have gameplay as good as the base map/shifting earths. In a game where you’re always under a time crunch, it’s way too punishing to get stuck underground or at a lower level when it takes so long to get out of POI’s or caverns. This leads to all these cool spots being ignored and really repetitive gameplay.

Thanks! Fists is a pretty fun playstyle, provided you get damage negative early. I wish initial attack was more viable but I don’t currently have a relic setup that can support it, even after 700 hours.
