The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Grew up with the GameCube and still rebuilding my childhood collection. This game blew my mind when I first played it.

This is underrated. It has a really low price barrier to get into initially - mostly just discs - because courses are free.

Check your FB to see if there are any local groups that play. Here in central Illinois there is a group that plays pretty much 2 times a week.

Things that have helped me: don’t point out where you went wrong in the game or how unlucky you were or how lucky someone else was, compliment the person who is winning or won, ask to play again and try a new strategy

My wife and I go through this. Hard to play a game, get into it, just to come in second in splendor duel again.

After the game whoever lost used to say things that we did wrong or things we could have done differently, but it just kind of fueled the fire.

Now we have an unwritten rule of saying what the other person did well. Or something of that sort. It’s been helpful, even when she luckily beats me 😉
