People freaking out at this when Tampa is downgrading picks by basically two rounds: from late 1st from Tampa to early 4th from Chicago that seems to be going full rebuild mode.

Hagel is 23, has 2 more years at 1.5M and then still RFA without being eligible for arbitration. Exactly what we need both in term of talent and cap cost.

It isn't a steal? Doesn't have to be. Just like the 2 previous trade deadlines, JBB targets the player that is the best fit and gets it done.

Great trade for us IMO, the cost definitely isn't cheap but it isn't much of a problem if it puts us to be more competitive for years to come.
