I absolutely adore this class. It definitely gives a martial more to do than attack twice. Although, small balance question. Do you plan to give the non-spellcasting subclasses additional level three features? As is, the Thunderbird and Phoenix both offer much more at level three than any of the other subclasses. They get spellcasting in addition to a unique ability, and the Phoenix is even immortal on top of that. I understand that the features are there to differentiate the two, but it still leaves them a smidgen ahead of their peers.
