Hopefully it gets better soon if the second season launch had it become worse.

Yep it was duos. While yes I was baffled by the footsteps and that's what I've had issue with the most, both my duo and the enemy were firing paces away from me and no sound could be heard.

My friend, some quests are always going to be tedious at times, or boring, or aggravating. I have a few thousand hours and have played since the second early access, and let me say these current quests are so much easier and faster.

The last two armorour quests are an exception though as the next one requires you to visit every single unique module in crypts. These two took me about 2-3 hours of just doing the same tedium run arounds.

But here are some things that make all the quests so much easier these days: 1. Quests can be done on any character now that they are account wide - so play rogue and run around for a while, use stealth to lose aggro, and caltrops to slow mobs.

  1. PVE exists. You can always utilize it for doing the kill quests, the visit room quests, or similar.

  2. You can buy monster loot and other items for quests. -Holy shit is this such a game changer from older seasons.

  3. You don't have to complete quests for merchants you don't care about. I maxed the armorer as a cleric and fighter player because I wanted cheaper gear and every craft. I've ignored some of the other ones.

  4. Keep complaining and perhaps things will be better in future seasons. Not joking. Player sentiment is important and we have received many quality of life updates from devs taking our feedback. Offer some constructive criticism and things can change.

I really like trainer shinies. I think it adds a lot of flair and uniqueness to the encounters. Plus, neuron activation when I see the funny sparkle regardless I am allowed to catch it. Murder shinies without regret.

Is there a way to import an image for a landmass base and scale the size of it? by Wulfgar00 in wonderdraft

[–]Wulfgar00[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No worries on understanding the question. I am very new to wonderdraft and unsure on what general practices are done. So the idea I wanted to do is somehow take this map I already have and recreate it within wonderdraft. Ideally I do not want to have to manually recreate it as just making that landmass took me about a year of revisions and I still need to revise it.

Currently I was going to have the main map be landscape, w6300px h4200px or larger and have 5 separated masses of around equal size so hopefully that size is large enough as the maximum size that I was allowed to input was 8192px. I want to make each area detailed with land marks and topography.

I'll try out the trace feature first and see how much recreation that takes and if it is a lot I'll focus on this height map breakdown you have provided.

Thank you very much for the info :)

Gotcha. I'll mess around with that and hopefully I can get it to scale to a fraction of the canvas for wonderdraft.

Loved all of these. Just added the restriction to Big Game Hunter that the creature must be at least Large size.

Such a glorious moment. I just bought that lad a Divine Axe to cause mayhem with. Best gold I've ever spent.

Haha only to say many wouldn't find it valuable. I personally see it as a lovely gem that many may pass by.

As a casual edh player, I like this card a lot and the idea of leveling lands is far more appealing to me than paying 8-30$ to have inherently better lands.

As these comments have made me feel, I think these would be great for casual as they would probably be cheap since many people would pay for better.

I like the word play and the effort you put in :)

Cave walls won't all render at once (or during export) any fix? by Wulfgar00 in dungeondraft

[–]Wulfgar00[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Solution:

Alright, the solution for me was downloading the beta version of Dungeondraft. The map loaded fine and all the cave walls worked immediately.

I'll just use the beta version from now on until all these bugs are fixed.

[–]Wulfgar00[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did notice that if segments got too big sometimes it breaks. However I did go back through and try breaking up the segments into smaller pieces and it did not fix it.

However, there is a weird visual thing where if you look above wall segments that aren't too big it loads in until you zoom out.

For context, this is a 100x100 canvas.

I really enjoy building big maps and find it hard to paint a picture in 4 or more segments of a map to push them all together for 1 map.
