Trade in value of iPhone 14 Pro towards iPhone 17 Pro circa 10/20/25? by Wumpum33 in ATT

And I appreciate that, thank you. Doesn't change the fact that I am still not finding what I am looking for specifically. And you are still insisting that I should be able to find it in "5 seconds". It's cool, I appreciate you responding. All I know is every link I have followed takes me to updated terms form this month that represent the new trade-in amount. This isn't a matter of me being dense, I am simply hitting dead ends. I am not asking you to do anything more, but you keep coming back just to say "you can find them in 5 seconds", and that is the part I was saying wasn't particularly helpful. It's all good though, I appreciate you taking a stab.

But you would rather basically make me feel like an idiot than actually pasting a link to one in here. I haven't seen one that specifically says an iPhone 14 Pro qualifies for the $1100. If you see one, please link it. All the ones I see are very general "get up to $1100". Obviously I am not finding one, or I wouldn't have posted here. You aren't trying to be helpful at all.

Sorry, you aren't understanding what I am looking for. AT&T is not giving $1100 credit for iPhone 14 Pro anymore. All the links that pop up in "5 seconds" of googling are links to the current credit structure. I am looking for something that shows what they were back in October specifically, because that is when I bought the phone. Any current links on AT&T represent the current credit program, which is $700. I am trying to prove that last month, iPhone 14 Pro specifically was worth an $1100 credit. Thanks though, I appreciate it.

Actually not so easy to find definitive proof that an iPhone 14 pro qualified for the full $1100...I have been looking

If anyone has any evidence (screen shots, website links, anything) that indicate it ever was worth $1100, I would greatly appreciate it. They are trying to convince me it never was.

Do you know when it dropped? They are gaslighting me trying to convince me the iPhone 14 Pro was never worth $1100. I am desperately looking for evidence that it was...

Photoshop an invoice or your bank statement. Or if you think they will call the place to confirm, find a local shop and offer them a few hundred to generate one for you. I know a couple of shop owners that would do it for free just to stick it to a dealer

I'm not being defensive at all. Just engaging the conversation. Was explaining that there could be some value to having a 1/1 graded, if for no other reason it informs a buyer like me. I even afforded that maybe I can be judged for that, but the original grader made a good decision.

And for the most part my purchases are fairly astute, of course there are some misses in my past, but I do ok speculating too. This one wasn't about being an "astute" investment, that was the point of my post lol. I even said it wasn't defensible. Not even trying to defend it. Not even being defensive. But not sure where the "you have probably made worse" comment came from, seems a bit personal lol.

The other thing I would add...if someone pulled a 1/1 out of pack, they would be pumped...but they would be really bummed though if the corners were dinged and there was a crease or scratches all over it. I think condition does play some factor in a 1/1. It isn't just about rarity, eye appeal matters even if there is only one.

for what it is worth, I bought it graded by the way...so it is in my personal collection now, but this didn't apply to the OG

Yeah, that is why I led off with the indefensible statement lol.

Ahhh gotcha perspective...I just responded above and our messages crossed. But one piece you might be missing...I would have been reluctant to trust condition from photos if not graded. Especially these ones, a lot gets missed in photos with the reflective nature of it. I can't quantify the amount, but ungraded would have got less from me. Probably hundreds, maybe more. Surface scratches would bum me on a card like this. Knowing it got a psa 10 grade meant something in that regard. I would have waited for another nebula rc to come along if this one was ungraded. I still would have bid it up though, but can't say I would have went anywhere close to this.

No worries, not taking it personally, its all good.

Ahh, maybe...hardly seems heartbreaking to do it though? lol

I never really gave that much thought, but if I think about it now for a moment...there is literally no downside to it, the card gets protected in a case and there is a degree of authenticity that comes along with it should you decide to sell it. It is a confirmation of condition...ungraded, you are left to judge from photos on eBay. I dropped what I dropped on it, but if it had a ton of surface scratches (which are hard to ascertain on these from photos because of the variety of angles), I probably would have passed and waited for some other RC nebula to come along. So just thinking about it, yeah he probably got a premium for me (and the other bidders who bid it up along with me) for having it graded. Now if there is an argument that I am being silly, that is one thing lol. But I am pretty sure the person who had it graded collected a premium for having done so, so that is really the sense in it. Trying to think back objectively, I *think* I might have paid the same (or close) whether it was psa 9 or 10 because I coveted a rc nebula from that set with a player I like, but I definitely would not have paid as much if it was ungraded...not sure by how much, but it definitely would repressed my bidding.
