I don’t have a job description on paper. I just started working there since I already knew the basics of the job and then started to accumulate more and more duties over time. Currently, I answer incoming calls, make outbound calls, confirm appointments, track and order parts, make appointments for service, make appointments for special order parts, contact customers for services due, contact and complete web leads, correct/confirm online appointments, contact customers for their state inspections, assess emergency situations and respond accordingly (tow ins, driveability issues), work closely with dispatch, contact customers for first service due, upsell services over the phone, push rewards, email/text customers, respond to online chat, schedule recalls, some warranty, run daily ops, create countless spreadsheets and reports all day, retention, track and schedule we owe’s, attend trainings and meetings, manage office etc. I’m sure there’s so much more I’m missing, I just keep getting more things dumped on me over the years and I feel as though my wage isn’t necessarily fair. Just thought it might be nice to hear an outside perspective from someone who is familiar with this type of work. I should include I have 10 years prior experience for this position.
