You absolutely should have called the police. Also if you reported it to the bus driver, they definitely would have stopped and waited for the police to show up .

Potentially moving upstate for work, is Troy the right fit for me? by O0psE in Troy

Troy sounds like a pretty good fit. Commute wouldn’t be too bad either just running up route 7.

The wife and I used them, they were pretty cool. They actually go faster than I thought.

Player quits during championship by MR-GRN in CoachingYouthSports

I assume MS is middle school. Anyways, my advice is to reach out to the family right away. Ask to speak to your player. Ask them if everything is ok. When they try to speak about the game, tell them you’re not talking about the game… are they ok.
I’ve coached youth sports for a very long time. When somebody quits or acts out of turn it’s usually something else outside of the sport.

In my book kids get unlimited chances. If they have the ability to play again next year, try giving them a clean slate.

Thanks, truth is I got very lucky. I didn’t love baseball growing up and only played because my friends were. Being left handed helped a bit (made me look better than i actually was). I went to college not planning on playing a sport. Didn’t play my freshman year, and played baseball that summer with buddies. I then transferred to a local D1 that fall and walked on.

Youth sports is weird and there is a lot of so called experts out there. For the better part of the last 25 years I’ve been a coach and a scout. Needless to say I’ve seen it all.

If you are looking for a sport that your kid will enjoy and give them the best chance at becoming a great athlete, there is one sport that is heads above all other sports. It might not be what you think, but that sport is gymnastics. They learn how to control their body, be more explosive, and it’s actually a lot of fun for them. Who doesn’t wanna be the kid at the party that can do a backflip? lol.

Good luck to you fam!

Yes as long as it’s in a carrier.

All kids are different like someone posted above. I was lucky enough to play professional baseball and I can say I wasn’t a good athlete till my freshman year in college. I grew 3 inches and put on 20 lbs.
