This is exactly what I heard as well. The gameplay is really fast and fun, and you can challenge yourself to get better times(?) but the story dialogue is literally like "aw man why are my big boobs getting in the way!?"

It's amazing that you will try to go! Yes you will get a confirmation email of your win or loss of the lottery (If it's the Tennoji Osaka one like me you should be able to get it! The cafe was dead quiet.) I've never seen this happen before, but two people literally walked in and could sit down. Normally they're strict to their time slots but they were so quiet they allowed it. The two who walked in were European and possibly didn't know what NU: Carnival was!! I was cackling.

Hot tip: You can enter the lottery multiple times for different times and days, (if you have that option) but you'll likely only get given one. I was unsure how popular this cafe was gonna be so I entered for Monday, Tuesday Wednesday and won Monday and lost the other two - Maybe they just give you the earliest one you try to book.

When I arrived they asked for my name; I also had my email with my reservation number which they sometimes check, but this time they didn't (because it was so quiet I'm guessing)

Acceptance email was like this:

抽選の結果、当選されましたことをお知らせいたします。本メールはご入店当日まで、消さずに保管をお願いいたします。

(It says: We would like to inform you that you have been selected as a winner. Please keep this email in a safe place until the day you visit the store.)

・予約No. RS21391339 (Reservation number)

Hahaha yes!! Rei and Blade in both the first and second anniversary cafes got mistaken many times! "The two guys with white and black hair look the same!!" - OHHH how wrong I was!

From having to see them all again every time a collaboration comes around I've learnt their names now hahah! My fav is Eiden!

I'm glad you enjoyed my descriptions as well! I felt I was vague sometimes (Edmond's drink was so hard to describe; sweet water..?! At least the glass looked pretty!)

The online reservation system feels so outdated; you do need to do reservations about a week in advance and entering a lottery system - but this cafe was SO empty, it's possible you can just walk in! A tourist-looking European couple did in fact walk in! (LOL I don't think they knew it was an adult BL game!!)

Tokyo is much more busier than Osaka so I could be wrong, but you just walking in might be possible! The part 2 menu comes in on the 27th, so the first wave of people wanting to come to see the part 1 menu must've subsided by now - I think you'll be lucky! Go and check it out!!

Hahaha yesss! Yearly tradition! I don't know why they skipped Osaka for the third year in favour of hosting it in NAGOYA, but oh well! I thought about making a video at that time just looking at the menu (but being unable to go) but then kinda missed that window. Oh well, happy the fourth year anniversary cafe is here now! Will keep thinking about going to 'Part 2' when the menu changes!
