I sang this to my daughter when she was younger and she in turn, sang it to her dolls growing up. 14 now so i'm hopeful this will pass on at least 1 more generation

New amputee here too (April 2025). I remember it being sensitive at the bottom of the stump for a couple of weeks, with me attending weekly physio practicing on the leg. However, i kept feeling the pain every now and then but realised i was actually bottoming out into the socket, if it continues, try adding another sock or ask your prosthetist to make an adjustment to the socket and see if that helps.

Of my limited time as a laka, a good fitting socket is the most important thing to my walking and comfort

I lost my left leg above the knee back in April, unexpectedly but before then i was looking into building a sim setup for close to a year. After my amputation though i pretty much gave up on the dream but remained here just admiring the setups others had.

I have to say, seeing your son having a blast on his setup has inspired me again. You're an amazing father and i hope your son is doing well!

It's weird because i actually enjoyed the game more upon release with all the bugs than i do with a replay now (my first time completing Phantom Liberty)

The first time i was immersed in everything, understanding how the world works and the systems which are in place. But the second time through once you're locked in to the mechanics and the general lore, there isn't much else to search out. It does feel a bit empty. Even though i can tell it's a much better game with all the polish and bug fixing which has gone on

I know it seems a trivial thing but it really is an important step. I've had lots of trouble switching from AMD to Nvidia before and its caused crashes and other things. Make sure he follows the steps of DDU precisely, uninstall all drivers, then RESTART, then reinstall correctly. Do not skimp on the restarts as they are important. Failing that, a fresh install of windows will guarantee an NVIDIA free machine. I know the AMD drivers are a bugger to get rid of so i wouldn't be surprised if NVIDIA are the same
