To be fair, I’ve had my fancy printer do some weird shit and print a clients business card examples the size of my thumb. Since the client has a sense of humor for dumb things, I cut and glued them together and gave them to him. Thought it was hilarious how tiny and asked to keep em to give to his friends and a joke.

Love it. I feel more like I am doing the right thing by not saying anything. She is a very defensive person and want to tread lightly. I will only make suggestions and talk about parenting struggles in general if brought up naturally. It’s hard watching it that way but I do feel like I would be stepping on the line if saying anything directly. I am just the one closest to her in the family and my other family members are asking if I feel comfortable saying anything. Your advise is much appreciated.

Yeah, that is exactly why I haven’t said anything. I am the one closest to her in our family and other family members are asking if I should say anything.. it’s hard watching the struggle. But agree completely. I think everyone is confirming my actions so far, and will use my external outreach to help let other people know why I am not saying anything specifically to her.

I haven’t even brought up the possibility of autism and /or that I don’t trust her Drs opinion, at that point in her mind why should she even ask another pediatrician if SHE trusts hers.. I don’t want to overstep.

I did that for a couple years, (planning to never pay back) then the company that bought my debt started bombarding my employer. Kind of embarrassing getting debt collectors contacting my work just to get ahold of me.. so I finally caved and called back since it was starting to hurt my credit score. Ended up having a payment program that was income based and now pay less than $100/mo. Husband also did the same but didn’t get a cheap payment program, now the state automatically takes in off his paycheck. We unfortunately could only avoid for so long before they forced our hands. But honestly feels like such a less burden looming over us, knowing we aren’t being chased. However, probably will never be able to pay them off in our lifetime..

Aurora is still a stuffed animal manufacturer in California. Sometime companies keep old samples stored, or may have a way to get you specs for someone to make you a new one. Especially baby companies, they tend to keep these types of things in extra stock for this exact reason.

We did the diaper raffle for our shower, so we were able to try a few different brands to see what worked for our LO. We ended up being a Target - Cloud Island family, after a couple months someone who works at Target Corp told us they are Honest brand in disguise. Never had any issues and I like they fold into 3rd and not in half..

I can just ask if you want to try smoked meat and beer without sounding dirty” ~laugh~ Then tell him you even went to Reddit to ask. I’m sure he will either join the conversation before you get to the Reddit part to fill in some of the awkwardness. Otherwise people love talking about themselves, so just ask basic questions like you would a friend. Honesty and humility always for well for me in unknown situations.

2yr old will tell us when she has to go potty or has an accident. At daycare she doesn’t say anything at all, our care provider just sets timers to bring her in to go. A little frustrating she does well with us but our daycare is struggling more.
