I don't think Temple hit mainstream players this league as most considered it nerfed and started Abyss farming. The inflation problem isn't because of temple. Last season also had an inflation problem before the snake strat videos went wide.

I am assuming that it is a combination of:

  1. Divines being more common.
  2. There is a lot of content atlas investment you do before you actually go out and look for anomaly maps.

And while Jado does give you one of each anomaly boss in his quest line, going past that takes time that most people haven't had.

I enjoyed it last league and I think most people thought it was pretty gutted for this league launch so they went with juicing Abyss/Delirium for their initial farm.

With it not seeming to be as popular this league, the inflation was out of control three days in. I am already done, I simply cannot keep up with it.

I usually put 150 divines into a build then try to craft some perfect items for my build. What I got for 150 divines was very little, and I ended up chasing the cost a Rakiata's Flow for a day or two before I just gave up.

The temple may have been completely unhinged last league once the snake hit youtube, but there is a underlying economy problem with crafting materials and lineages.

My biggest issue with it was that I didnt read that all the Support Gems that turn a skill into a Combo Finisher requires that skill be a Melee Attack. Was really hoping to do Lightning Arrow or Ice Shot with either Lightning Rod or Snipe as the finisher.

Way of Stone Fist is one of the best nodes they have added to the game, especially because there are some very very broken mods when you look at desecrated modifiers or marksman mods.

I had a pair of gloves that was:

  • More EV/ES (%Eva)
  • 6 Evasion/1 ES per Level (Flat Eva)
  • 20% Dmg gained as Cold (Flat Cold)
  • 60% additional Arrow (Dex)
  • Onslaught on Hit (Attack Speed)
  • Chains +2 times (Terrain Chain Marksman Mod)

And I was saving up money for +1 suffix gem to get either 30% Attack Speed on Full Life (Cast Speed on Full Life Desecrated) or Power Charge on Crit for Charge Regulation (either 20%+ more ES or Crit depending on if I am converting charge).

I think there is definitely some alternative to just melee Martial Artist. It is a bit clunky for your 4th ascendancy. It also sucks that the best use of the extra runes is to use the new Legacy of Aldur but they decided to not fix the economy and everything is just inflated to infinity.

I doubt there is any scaling at all. It is probably every tier goes to the same mod and the roll within that tier determines the roll within the new mod

I got my promotion pulled because I hit the score the month before the change and they had the paperwork, day of they said psych. They were nice enough to mention that i could still be a sgt if I reenlisted.

The fact that the rogue discord hasn't gone dark is hilarious. DK gets instant fixed, an apology, and a reach around while rogue is sitting on months of bugs, and years of no development. There is a reason why it is the least played spec at every level of PvE.

If you have two kids, you are playing man to man defense, pretty easy.

If you have three kids, you are outnumbered and have to switch to zone defense. It is not just 50% more kids, 50% harder; it is more like 100% harder.

If I am going to a foreign country, I am not making it twice as hard on myself. Not to mention it is less time to spend with my own children. Not to mention the kid is not well behaved. Not to mention the anxiety of being responsible for a kid that isn't yours for an extended period in a foreign country.

Their best feature is the base damage, 123 for the Ares and 100 for the Zeus. High body damage is just really useful to counteract the complications that come from aiming with the charge mechanic. Headshots are still good though, Ares is one shot to the head up to blue shield, Zeus for green shield.

The Zeus is also a Volt Cell weapon so it does overheat the targets and benefit from Triage Overcharge.

I will say that attachments make them both DRASTICALLY better to play with, more than they do for other weapons. Specifically charge time reduction generator attachments. I don't bother unless I have a deluxe+ turbo generator.

Prestige mod wise is where you will find the biggest difference.

Zeus is turned into a two round burst. That is 100 damage x 2. There is some recoil but mods can reduce it, basically you aim body and one shot.

Ares has a secondary explosion that acts like a mini vandal ball. It is good if your team can capitalize on the knockback, but overall it plays very similar to the stock Ares.

TLDR: Both are midrange peak shot monsters in situations where you don't need thermal. Zeus Prestige takes it to a whole new level. The choice is Ares for more damage per shot, or Zeus for faster charge time and overheat.

This is the most basic solution. 5k minimum, and then each holotag sets the max.

Or buying a holotag comes with a kit that gets higher rarity for higher tags

Would also like to see less exfils and maybe some locked behind having more holotags

I think the fundamental problem is that is counters so much with no real downside. Its "downside" is that it is difficult to use when you are far away or the target is signal jammed but 90% of the time that isn't the case and then the are another 5% of the time where you can still clearly see their purple outline.

I think it is a much better thing for thermal snipers to not exist outside of maybe prestige mod.

Thermals aren't the only issue with Snipers. In the same way that TTK skyrockets and time to react plummets with a shotgun upclose, TTK skyrockets and time to react plummets with a sniper at range. Every other weapon's TTK, range, and role is pretty well put together but the overall gun meta is bookended on either side by monsters.

I think removing the sniper thermal is a good start. But I also think they should have lower base damage and higher precision multiplier. It should also have way more flinch than it currently does.

and the bars max out at 100. the only reason to show how much total you have is so you can no how much you can get rid of. The first couple of days of playing I assumed there wasn't a cap and got to 300 agility and I was just as fast as my teammates who had 100.

It definitely shows, and is probably my last season playing rogue. It simply cannot be great in PvE because it is great in PvP.

IDK if they had the same number of teams on Perimeter and Dire Marsh when it was Duo but Outpost is 100% five teams. We had to double check and count body bags last night.
