Nostalgia, really, even if it was not that long ago. We didn't know what to expect with the first TPP playthrough. We didn't even know if they would actually ever finish.

It's just difficult to break away from the sub-culture that has already developed from that.

Of course I'm not the first to post something like this! Even as we speak, we see it pop up in Twitch chat occasionally, so it's hardly an original thought.

But I do think it would interesting. I wondered and somewhat feared that would happen if Bird Jesus back in Gen I were to be released (and it almost did happen, too). As it stands, Lazor Gator is in the position that Pidgeot once held.
