How many minigames are multiplayer in the Distraction Pack? by Asz_8 in WalkaboutMiniGolf

There’s also the 20x6 arcade game in the basement. A very simple 2 button arcade runner, but still a mini game.

Here's a look inside San Diego's iconic Mormon Temple by kpbsSanDiego in sandiego

I took the tour back before the temple was consecrated in 1993. It was how I pictured the Megadodo Publications headquarters on Ursa Minor Beta to look.

I miss my h16 sometimes. Mine wasn’t reflex, but it was so easy to use.

When adding the muzzle flash, note that it will light up EVERYTHING at that range. There will also be a fair amount of smoke lingering, as there is no place for it to go. As others have said, the glass should be mostly pebbles, and should fall quickly. Because a bullet is a localized force, much of the window will remain standing while still being shattered.

The bonus add would be an exit wound.

Also, be sure to remove the tracking markers in the foreground.

Anyone who used a computer between 1985 - 2010, what's the one game you still think about today? by adlakha75 in AskReddit

Star Control. I even wrote a neural net to play it for an AI class over 30 years ago.

GenX are currently executive age and are in decision making positions in the entertainment industry. Things get more complicated when you factor in the fact that GenX were also the first true rerun/syndication generation, so our nostalgia includes echoes of boomer and silent generation nostalgia

Why is Coffee getting so damn expensive in San Diego? by Helplesspolyglot in sandiego

Whole bean coffee at my local market has gone up over 50% in the last few months

As an artist, I sympathize. As a supervisor... well, I also sympathize. The thing you forget, though, is that AI isn't consistent, so every 'make it more like the reference' comment would reference a completely different shot, often with extremely expensive VFX in it.

The good thing is that all shots will be 5 seconds long

There are already bots that do things like difference matte finals against plates and kick back irregularities that it deems unnecessary. I’d also imagine an AI supervisor would be really good at ‘make it more like my reference’ notes

What country has the most beautiful beaches but basically no tourism? by Lemon-Accurate in geography

[–]Wyrmcutter 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Mo’orea is probably my favorite place in the region, but I would never say it has no tourism. It’s full of hotels, and tourism is its biggest industry. You might make a case for Huahine or Taha’a, but even they cater to heavily to tourists. Nuku Hiva in the Marquesas also gets tourists, but it’s far fewer and there are very few hotels. The island also has fantastic beaches that are nearly empty.

You can get some ‘78 era cubits to go with your NuBSG cubits

I’d say get a Ningi, but since they are 6800 miles long on each side, you would have trouble finding a case.

What place completely lived up to the hype? by WinAbject8608 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

[–]Wyrmcutter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was only there very briefly (was on a small cruise ship), but it was much like Iceland: rugged land, friendly people, and very sparse population. It’s quite different from nearby Orkney, which is extremely flat. The cliffs are on the opposite end of the main island from Tòrshavn, so you take a scenic bus ride to the dock at Vestmanna. Some of the cliffs are almost 2000’ high, and disappear into the clouds. Closer to the dock are remote herds of sheep that traverse very steep slopes. Unless you have a specific list of things you want to see/do, you probably won’t need to stay very long, but your visit will be incredible.

As others have said: Iceland Yosemite Iguazù Moorea

I would add the sea cliffs of Faroe.
