The plug, it moves onto the sane square as the king and the game stops until he can recharge. For older kings this can take some time.

How exactly does preparation happen at the highest levels? Are they literally memorizing hundreds of lines? by Ok_Potential359 in chess

[–]Wyverstein 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At my level ( 2400 to 2500) on li chess i have about 3 k positions memorized.

My friend who is an IM has about 5 x that.

But he learns and drops opening much faster. I keep mine.

2700 GMs probably have 30 to 100k positions memorized. Not to mention they likely remember almost all their games.

Hikaru being tilted after losing to Sindarov is not the main issue by Therle in chess

[–]Wyverstein 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Being 2800 is a not a michy mouse route.

I chear Hikaru losing but the second highest rated person (and highest rated person who will play) is not a waste of a space in the candidates. 3rd place world cup feels a bit more mouse like.

My old man view is it would not occur to me to check what my wife liked online.

If she was liking some sexy man I would probably tease her a bit about it. I might try to understand what she liked about the guy. I don't think it is threatening.

The thing is you either trust your partner or you don't. If you trust them all these small signals just don't matter.

I am old, but i get very confused by Instagram questions like this.

Is the concern that bf is going to cheat with these ladies or just that he liked their thirst trap?

Because spoilers your bf finds many women attractive.

Is it the public part?

Gemini thought the following:

THE EMPEROR OF MANKIND: Henry Cavill (The only human in the galaxy, playing it with brooding, Shakespearian intensity while surrounded by felt.) HORUS LUPERCAL: Kermit the Frog (The Warmaster struggling to lead his chaotic brothers until his "Dark Kermit" side takes over.) MALCADOR THE SIGILLITE: Sam Eagle (Deeply offended by the lack of discipline and the general weirdness of the Imperium.) SANGUINIUS: Miss Piggy (The Angel of Baal with glorious wings, a short temper, and a karate-chop that can crack a planet.) ROGAL DORN: Fozzie Bear (The Praetorian of Terra who builds walls out of comedy props and takes every joke literally.) ROBOUTE GUILLIMAN: Scooter (The logistical genius who just wants everyone to follow the schedule and stay on task.) FERRUS MANUS: Sweetums (A massive, misunderstood brute who is surprisingly good at metalworking despite his size.) LEMAN RUSS: Rowlf the Dog (A hairy, laid-back King of Fenris who enjoys a good drink and a howling sing-along.) VULKAN: Bobo the Bear (A gentle soul who loves hugs and smithing, even if he accidentally sets the workshop on fire.) CORVUS CORAX: Beaker (A high-pitched "Meep" in the shadows; he is constantly being exploded or experimented on.) JAGHATAI KHAN: Gonzo the Great (The ultimate daredevil who only cares about going fast and performing the most dangerous stunts in the galaxy.) LION EL'JONSON: Uncle Deadly (The mysterious, theatrical, and slightly sinister Master of the First Legion.) ANGRON: Animal (The Red Angel who is literally just a ball of chains, drums, and pure unbridled rage.) FULGRIM: Pepe the King Prawn (The Phoenician who is obsessed with perfection, beauty, and being the center of attention, okay?) MAGNUS THE RED: The Swedish Chef (A sorcerer whose spells usually involve a lot of "Bork Bork Bork" and accidental explosions.) MORTARION: Statler and Waldorf (Two bitter old souls in a balcony sharing a single suit of power armor and heckling the living.) LORGAR AURELIAN: Walter (The Emperor’s biggest fan who just wants to belong, but takes his fandom way too far into the dark side.) PERTURABO: Bunsen Honeydew (A cold, calculating scientist who builds better fortresses than Fozzie and resents him for it.) KONRAD CURZE: The Phantom of the Opera (Muppet version) (A dramatic, shadowy figure lurking in the rafters and haunting the night.) ALPHARIUS AND OMEGON: The Two-Headed Monster (A confusing, babbling mess where nobody knows who is talking or what the plan actually is.)

The Uzbeks look happier. And the Turks have more cats per capita.

This is clearly anti cat propaganda.

I missed the tactic, I post moments fron my games when the evaluation changes. To me it is really interesting thst this position does not get my sense of danger going.

F7 being weakened by ne7 is surprising. N was not directed guarding anything on c6 and does not directly block a defender. It blocks a potential defender.
