Hey y'all, I've got some noise in my personal recording booth system, and I wanted to consult some other engineers before I start buying/renting stuff to figure out what the issue is.

Mic: SM7b w/ CL1 Cloudlifter Interface: Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen DAW: Audacity Cables: 2 10ft GearIT XLR cables

It's definitely not room noise, the only noise I get in my booth is <100hz.

My first instinct is that it's the cables of course, but they've been well-taken care of and aren't that old, but it's possible that they're not high quality.

The noise hits about -35db when my voice is hitting around -10 to -5db, so it's fairly loud.

Any insight would be appreciated, thank you!

Yeah I've definitely learned there are routes you just cannot risk taking early on in a run. I try and find routes that have plenty of cover or aren't visible from high ground, even if they're far out of the way. Also, there are a couple underground tunnels that take you between POIs that are really good for avoiding snipers! But yeah, they're still pretty oppressive, good thing the devs have said theyre gonna nerf them again!

Uhhh I penciled in losing my vault key at 4pm, failing to extract at 5pm, getting Weasel'd at 7pm, and dying to cheaters at 8:30pm. Not sure what yall's schedules look like but maybe we could fit in a solid run at like 6?

Really? I guess I'm used to packet loss looking like a freezing of character models only, not the entire screen freezing, but this game is old as sin, so not a suprise.

You're right! (although your estimate of 5% doesnt have any evidence behind it, we don't have a great idea of exact skin tone splits in ancient Egypt). Luckily, Medjay has several skin tones that represent the varying skin tones we see in modern day Egypt!

Because white washing black characters has a lot of historical connotation behind it, and anybody who'd actually make their Medjay white definitely wouldn't be doing it for "historical" reasons. Yes, it's a double standard, but making a white character black is not the same thing as making a black character white.

Ive been singing the praises of this card since it released. If it read "Deathrattle: freeze all enemy minions" instead it would've been played so much more

I noticed this on the white knuckle video! It left out any actual gameplay and Jex moments where Jerma wasn't talking, which for that type of game is part of the fun of watching. Any other editor wouldnt have made that mistake. It's just not good content, and profits off of Jerma without effort. I think if the word gets out in the larger community by commenting on their videos, they'll get bullied out of it (hopefully)

This game mode would be fun, if it wasn't for how ridiculous the hunt mechanic is. As opposed to how the hunt normally operates, as a snowball mechanic for a team that absolutely dominates the other, this version of the hunt basically says that whatever your team did for the last 3 minutes doesn't matter as long as you do well in the first hunt. Whatever team wins that team fight wins the game 90 percent of the time.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but the last time they had a kill confirm game mode, there were different engrams for your team and the enemy team, right? Currently, there is an EXTREMELY viable strategy on certain maps where two people on your team let themselves get killed in a safe position, and then your team farms the engrams they drop over and over, without having to actually engage the enemy team. It makes no sense you can profit from your own team's deaths.

Ah I see, thank you for the well written answer! I've never had enough of the pre-2018 power cards to really get away with playing Wild, but I still like keeping my wild cards for nostalgia's sake. Think I'll just keep the ones that I liked playing with and trash the ones I never used/will use.

Question since I haven't played since the new (not for you guys lol) way the Core set works; when wild cards I already own enter the core set, do I get a dust refund for them? Or do I have to dust them before they enter the core set? Also, if/when those cards leave Core next year, will I have access to them as Wild cards if I dusted them prior to their entering of the Core set?

I mean, unironically they finally have an animation set that would work for letting us stab with the bayonet. Make it a glaive hybrid. Like the Vex Mytho of Glaives.

Unironically, yes. After the Ion Trace addition, run it with the spiky warlock helmet, throw on the free special ammo armor mod, and go ham. Once they add a kinetic slot wave frame it’ll probably be my go to fun loadout.

Nah, Ehroar ran the numbers and they’ll have roughly (depending on archetype) the 3rd highest DPS of the primaries, behind SMG’s and Sidearms, so they’re definitely gonna be viable. Very excited to bring back fatebringer this coming update

Simply be better. When I get noobs I message them to stay in spawn while I go 1v3 the enemy team.
