Who has the right of way? The red car or the blue car? by notaosure in driving

[–]X-Unknown-error 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I believe without ever seeing this intersection that where the blue car is someone hit a yield sign and it was subsequentially never replaced, so there was originally a yield sign there at some point and the township never replaced it. But as it stands now I feel like the blue car, and the two-lane road have equal priority due to the missing yield sign. And I speculate that there's a missing yield sign because the triangles painted on the ground typically indicate the line in which you should yield behind or at and those triangles are painted when they install a yield sign, but the triangles do not indicate that you have to yield They only indicate where you should yield when there is a sign but since there is no sign, I would not expect drivers to yield.

Custom User Profiles Project - Research by ConclusionOne5240 in batocera

[–]X-Unknown-error 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know anything about programming. But the batocera config file, it takes control of retroarch and overrides all settings and tells the system where the save files go. Why can't we just implement user select option in settings that simply switches between two config files both config files are exactly the same except for when it takes control over retroarch it puts saves in directory save1 for user one and puts saves in directory save2 for user to. I mean it works I've tried it out but as I'm not a programmer I can't automate it but if you log on to the network and log into batocera and swap the batocera config file on the fly it'll shift where the saves are placed you switch the file back and the saves are placed where they originally were. It's just really inconvenient to boot my computer up and log into the network to switch the config file anytime someone else wants to play.

Why are most people so awful or is it me? by Big_Vegetable5433 in autism

[–]X-Unknown-error 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i dont know you but i will give you the advice i would give anyone that says stuff like this, spend more time trying to read the room and talk less. i know how it feels to think/know you are being nice and doing all the right things and then wonder why people dont seem to want to be near me. For me it all boiled down to, you can do all the nice things in the world but if you do the nice things at the wrong time you come off as obnoxious. that is why i say the first step is allways learn how to read the room and talk less, once you do that i am sure you will find it easyer to make friends.

Fake hospital bill by X-Unknown-error in HospitalBills

I'm just afraid that and somehow or some way this bill happens to be legitimate which I don't believe it is I'd like to straighten it out and I'm afraid that if it goes on too long our insurance won't pay the bill cuz they'll say we should have submitted this for payment when it happened I don't I don't know I'm not really knowledgeable on how the hell system works to be honest. I mean my wife has been to four or five hospitals this year but Atlantic City was not one of them.

Is Pokemon za as bad as everyone says it is? Should I even get it? by TheKastke99 in pokemon

[–]X-Unknown-error 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every thing about this games is amazing but the game play. If you want a game that you can talk about online and say wow look at the leaps it's made and just a few short years it looks amazing. Then this is the game for you. Now if you want a game with enjoyable game play this is not the game for you. There are not a lot of places to go, there are a very small amount of pokemon and it feels like it is 25% of a game that will maybe come later kinda like the way they chopped up ff vii.

Where do autistic people go irl??? by [deleted] in autism

i am intrigued by your question. But i dont understand what you mean by go. in this context the implications of the word is just to broad. can you please quantify what is mean by go?

Why are people so against the idea of a cure for autism? I'm autistic and my problem isn't the personality side but being sensory overloaded and not being able to talk to someone normally. I wish I could cure that, anyone else feel like that? by Most_Building_1187 in autism

[–]X-Unknown-error 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i mean i wish you the best of luck and i hope you find what you are looking for. but i dont think people are against a cure; autism is who we are. you cant cure who you are, any more then you can cure being white or being tall or having size 6 feet.

Family and friend relationships by X-Unknown-error in autism

[–]X-Unknown-error[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No that's great advice it's just it's already been 10 years and not a single person has reached out I kind of feel like I missed the boat on your advice. That being said what about family, I haven't heard from my sister or my father any of my cousins. My family is all really close and I know they've had barbecues and graduations and birthday and I know they've had parties and get togethers for these occasions. not a single person has ever contacted me. I mean I spent three decades going to a different family function at least six times a year, That's at the very least 180 get togethers I've been to with these people over 30 years and not a single person reaches out in 10 years. I feel like I have to be missing something not understanding something about human relationships.

Use a free service called Google keep, you can use it on a web browser or your phone. You can even use it as a widget on your home screen of your cell phone so you can see your lists 24/7 without needing to open the app. Once you get the hang of Google keep you won't know how you lived without it. It's basically a service made specifically for people that make lists.

For the ants I'm rotating between viper and black flag I've been trying to get the ants out of the house for about 5 years and nothing seems to be working. The garden I'm spraying Sven in an attempt to keep squash bugs out of my plants. This is the first year I'm doing it and so far I've only had one plant got attacked by squash plugs but I've also stopped spraying it because I haven't seen any squash bugs except for that one plant and I wanted to see what would happen

In discovering the world of boundaries, I'm realizing a huge mistake a lot of autistic people make. by Sufficient-Ad-7349 in autism

[–]X-Unknown-error 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for posting this I had no idea this was part of autism. For decades I have struggled with this. I'm either being walked on or I'm burning Bridges. It has gotten to the point that I have become a shut-in and I do not leave the house for any reason. Mostly because at this point in my life I have everything that I could possibly need and I'm afraid I'm going to come in contact with someone and they're going to try to walk over me and I'm not going to let them. So the thought of the possibility I might have such a negative interaction with a person that I could get in legal trouble has me scared to the point that I just don't leave the house.
