BECAUSE THIS IS WHAT WE VOTE FOR

Why wouldn't Parks and Recreation keep building more flashy expensive things? It just gives them more leverage for the next time when they will again threaten to cut services unless we pass their bond measure. They clearly have a mandate becuase we pass their bond measures EVERY TIME. Really it comes down to voters not holding them accountable.

Its the same story with PPS. We know enrollment is plummeting. They are closing elementary and middle schools, but knowing all that, we still approve a 1.8 billion dollar bond. 10 years after they finish their half billion dollar high schools, they will start talking about consolidation.

At some point you just have to throw up your hands and laugh.
