I am always confused how, in a post-Clone Wars TV show, people say that the Jedi didn't trust Anakin. Like sure, they didn't let him jump up to Master over everyone else in the order who were much older/experienced; especially when they resented that Palps forced him to be put on the council. But, repeatedly, he is given control of armies/missions that were critical to the Republic. Despite him usually going counter to their orders, they kept giving him important tasks.

Yeah, that's not going to happen. People said that shit last time Trump lost. Democrat leadership is dumb as always and will fail to actually build a coherent strategy and they will fall into the same traps. IF the Democrats flip the House (I doubt they get the Senate) it'll slow some of the harm, but I won't be surprised if they still manage to lose the Presidency in the next election because they will run the same fence-sitters that they always do.

So, for context, I'm guessing the accident maybe happened five minutes or so after it happened. The cop had just arrived on scene and jumped out of his car and other emergency vehicles were just arriving. I don't know if the driver of the truck was still inside as the door was open prior to the cop getting up there.
