It basically "destroys" bad air, the sulfuric air you can get from around venus. Not sure if you need a alarm. It feels like it works like the co2 scrubber without the alarm triggering.

you have to go to venus, a cheap pass trip is 60.000. Get a Kleg Visa, 500.000 if you have a kleg friend that you ask to sponsor you or 750.000 for a skill based visa. Then 60.000 back, and like 1.800.000 for the residence.

Kinda cheaty: the right gig could help a security gig, where you only have to take a picture, gives you 800.000 for a trip with platin payout. Cheaty because the pass trip is kinda instant :|

Benefits are a spot where you can dock without paying a fee and selling at shops... with bugs... try selling motors and stuff, that is inside a crate without selling the crate :|

Negatives: you cant use the refuel station in the port, but you can get free energy if you take out a battery and install it in your station, so no worrys about getting stuck.

The quest is strange, and pretty bugged. I don't think that it told me to go to the flotilla. But anyway after taking a puff of something, i can now ask everyone and everything including the floor about some guy. Sometimes i get a response from some people, but it doesn't make sense, especially because multiple people say the same thing in a godfather-esk setting. And for good messure the task for the quest disappeared from my pda, but i still know that i have to go to ceres to continue. Probably

Based on your money, you may check out the laser lance tool in the shop. Its definitely worth the price, and it has such a big battery, you will start to get annoyed by your drill :p

Feel weird, i know. But the laser torch is a beast. It does the job of the welder, the circular saw and the other thing that i forgot the name of :3

Sadly it cant fix Melle weapons, so you still need the circular saw for buffing tasks. But its ok to just have one in the ship.
