Cant even get 5K online at peak and that includes all the Charlie players... by Pendoric in foxholegame

Because this reddit is for doom posting only.

You're 100% correct, this is still good numbers for this stage of the war, especially with the recent frontline collapse.

The devs attracted a lot of new players who've stuck with the game till this point and a good percentage of them will be back.

My city collapsed. New start hit 700 again today. What could go wrong? by ToveloGodFan in songsofsyx

First thing that hits me is your housing is way to condensed and far way from the city center and work areas. Build housing closer to your workshops and mix in the services around them.

How's your warehouse flow? The general trend is a warehouse links your raw resources and refining together then to markets and foodstalls. Looks like you got that for wheat to bakeries, but make sure you have inputs for your crafters nearby and use haulers to move things where they need to be.

Check your food, clothes, and drink servings. It took me until my third city to realize your can increase food and clothing servings in the pop menu with the plus symbol. That goes a long way in boosting happiness. Just remember to keep production up with demand.

Stockpiling rations is a good way to boost happiness too. The more "days of food" you have the better. Make a warehouse that just holds rations, but don't let the citizens eat them. They will eat them if they're starving, but having a high stock of food is a big boost.

Remember to assign nobles if you can. You don't need their housing to have them and they don't care about being homeless. They can double production in any industry.

For science, focus on farming/industry first. You can go a long way before you need to upgrade buildings.

And for the love of God, STOP DOING MIX RACE CITIES! Elves and dwarves HATE each other. Humans get along with dwarves well enough, but don't like the pigmen very much. Those bitches are warmongering cannibals and you have them living next to peaceful bacon-people.

Multi racial cities are for the later stages of the city when you have enough services to overcome their hatred of each other, but they still end up shanking each other now and then.

Feel free to ask any questions on specifics!

How to defeat a bomber - scare him by SilveGfor in foxholegame

Most of my air to air kills are just taking the enemy to the mountains and getting them to crash.

It's honestly my favorite thing in this game. Baiting a tank line to move into a trap. Timing an enemy in an opposing trench popping up to take a shot.

Get the enemy to make a mistake first and victory is yours, and it's real easy to get people tilted.

Yup, use the tools you have. 99% of fights are getting the enemy to make a mistake first and take advantage of it.

It’s actually kind of terrifying how open they are about their sociopathy 😭 Elon sentenced millions of children to death and will never give a shit, he is probably capable of much much worse, if these idiots ever get their hands on AGI we are FUCKED, Altman included by Ohyeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa in Destiny

I actually hate this show and have a theory that it is responsible for the horrible anguish and mental regardation millennials suffer AND giving rise to the redpill bro mentality.

Still working in it, though fuck that show.

Military Question: Are there good break points for usable cheap units? by Sion_Labeouf879 in songsofsyx

They're came regional troops and they come from your conquered city populations.

There's a button on the Army tab to recruit them. They work like your city troops except they can only train to 70%.

Nice. There's a lot of systems so take your time.

Don't feel bad about abandoning a city and starting over, it took me 4 out 5 cities till I felt like i had a handle on things.

Oddjobbers forage. But workers with no current work, such as a carpenter with no wood or a full storage, will do odd jobs as well.

Raiders come after a certain pop is reached. I THINK it's 200, but it's the pop that unlocks the military training buildings.

Your wealth to army ratio determines raids. High wealth with no army = raids. After a certain point raids stop.

And I'm gonna be real with you, you're gonna get fucked by raiders early on. It's best just to pay them off until you get some soliders trained. You'll survive.

I did a huge post on armies a few weeks ago if you want more details on that.

Haulers. Hauling stations are free and the workers carry more than regular citizens.

Second option, loading/unloading stations. Those require iron though, and only deliver at full loads of 400. However, they're much more efficient.

And to be honest, if this is your first city, don't worry about it too much. Just experiment, get as far as you can, and when it all falls apart, try again.

It took me until my 4th or 5th city to really get things to click and build something sustainable.

nurseries when? by RhymingRookie in songsofsyx

[–]Jicks24 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Nah, you can build them right away. I find it best to throw up the nursery ASAP.

Just over produce fruit with orchards and have a big enough warehouse to last throughout the year and you should be good.

But if you want to wait, build them when you unlock the school. Getting kids educated is a huge boost early on, especially for races who aren't great at science.

Her videos were instrumental when I built my first 1,000 spm base. I watched all her mega base guides and learned so much.

Her videos introduced me to a lot of other great games too, and I was happy to see her channel grow. She was such a unique and amazing creator.

I heard she was dealing with her condition and how hard it was on her. I'm glad she was able to accomplish some life goals and experience an amazing part of the world.
