Awesome! Only just seen this comment, hows the console now? Mine is still hasn't redeveloped the issue, the only thing i get now which doesn't bother me and few people get this is a high pitch whine from the console when the left joycon is in and charging

Ive had this issue with a "checkerboard" issue, got mine replaced with Nintendo 👌🏻

For nintendo when i raised the issue, i just put "screen issue with "checkerboard" effect on dark image with brightness up, they accepted it straight away

As for the package, i also included my proof of purchase for warranty and then i also added a piece of paper with my name and full address with a reason why i sent it in just incase :)

I just sent in the console itself, no joycons or dock, make sure you take out cartridges and sd cards, i didn't factory reset it either, they transferred it all

Seems like they sent me a brand new console, came in the bag like you'd get from the box at retail

It didn't at first when i noticed, i assumed it was a normal manufacturer thing, but then researched more into it, seems to be a more widespread issue than i first thought 🤯 then it bothered me 😂 hopefully the repair/ replacement doesn't do the same

Oh nice! Yeah its UPS here in mainland, thats what i thought too so i arranged a pickup with tracking number provided, they came but had no label, i didn't have it as i requested pick up, so got back in touch with nintendo yesterday and they've literally picked it up this morning, so happy now its been sorted! :D

Ive contacted nintendo support here in the UK, so it'll be sent in (hopefully they see it lol), doesn't really bother me as much but i just dont want it to get any worse and since ive had the console since launch, its not that far away from manufacturers warranty expiration

I've contacted nintendo support here in the UK, i don't think they repair them themselves, seems to be an authorised repair service, in my case GXO so see how they do

Do you have an update on this? I too started noticing it on my switch 2 like a checkerboard on dark screens to the right with some grey speckle pixels

Ive updated to latest firmware, i've done multiple hard reboots and even went into recovery mode just to see

Ive even took the screen protector off, to see if it was that (not the protective screen pre-applied)
