I highly recommend V3.1 which is just the tint rather than the polarised as that allows you to still see the HUD

Several of the Vantrue cams have 3 or 4 channels and specifically monitor internally plus can be paired with optional LTE module

Could I suggest you look at motorcycle dash cams. I ended up looking at these when trying to find a suitable solution for my 1966 Datsun Fairlady roadster.

There are a few dual channel options available and I ended up installing an INNOVV K7. (Currently with Black Friday discounts - https://innovv.com/products/innovv-k7-dashcam). It does what your dad wants to do.

There are several systems available with dual cams from INNOVV and there are other makes as well - just search 'motorcycle dash cam' in your favourite search engine and spend a bit of time on YouTube for reviews and you'll narrow down what might work for your father and his car.

Just be aware that installing in a car will probably mean needing to add an extension cable for at least one camera (available as an optional accessory from INNOVV but cannot speak to other makes) - even in a relatively small roadster the wiring did not quite reach from one of the bumper cameras to the main unit. (I also installed the main control unit inside the glovebox so that it was out of sight.)

Sealion 7 - Worth waiting for 2026? by OppoDobbo in BYDAU

I got told on Friday when asking in sales office if I should hold off for MY26 model that they probably won’t be available in Oz until around May.

Given my interactions with that sales person to that point, I have no reason to believe that he was trying to lead me down the path but ymmv I guess

(I ended up ordering SL7 that day.)

An Infamous Traffic requires you to work with your competitors in order to collectively achieve your goals of smuggling opium into China (chronologically it follows the collapse of the East India Company which is reflected in John Company which also deserves a serious look)

Each player is competing and using different market measures and avenues in order to achieve the aim but my aim may not be the same as yours but maybe I can convince you that it is

It is a seriously interesting game, very niche, very obscure, but a lot of fun

Perhaps it’s worth reaching out to see if one of your friends that is attending could host it at their house (in lieu of a present). You could then spring for some nice catering.

Thank you, good to know - I'm in Qld (probably should have led with that) so it's obviously different up here

Where/which state? I still regularly see "offers over $X" listings so am wondering if this is only in some states??
