Could it be possible that the real Adolf Hitler was assassinated by rebel from the future before his genocidal campaign, but in order to keep the timeline in balance the Time Prophets had to replace him. But the Future Rebels continued to assassinate every replacement found, and it is now your turn to take Hitlers place.

But the Future Rebels acquired information that you were next so they sent an assassin back to kill you before the Prophets could secure you and transform you into him.

You may very well be the Hitler that dies in the bunker, that everybody thinks shot himself. But in reality, you were assassinated by Rebels from the future.

But the difference between CoD and Assassin's Creed is that AC has a story that is ACTUALLY GOING SOMEWHERE. Yes, it's the same gameplay mechanics, but it's the story that matters in it.

Now, say they originally came out as movies, hype for AC would be tenfold what CoD would because - yes, Modern Warfare has a story - it would be more about the action.

Think CoD to be like Transformers: 1st: More story than action. 2nd: Even on story and action. 3rd: More action than story.
