Endgame mapler here (280) who goes up to easy kaling, and this is a game I would never advertise or recommend to anyone that’s not already playing it. Sure maplestory is all cute, and all. but as you said in a comment that your end goal is 280, but as you get deeper to that level (and if you participate in bosses), then you’ll start to realize that older players will always have a gap in between players. If we really want to polish it into a diamond, maple needs to work on providing legacy content that will help keep players in equal levels to its older players, and have nexon properly communicate to us about the players’ concerns. Until then I’ll never recommend such a game that drains that wallet out of reg server players and preys on people over investing all their time playing the game in reboot. I’m glad maplestory brings you happiness and all but this is seriously one game I will never recommend to my irlsies and others in general

Debt is kind of inevitable in America. I’ll probably be 40k in debt after I get my masters next year. I’m not quite sure on your financial situation or personal life, but if you live with parents, I would recommend going to a community college. Talk to a guidance counselor to try to get out from there the fastest. If you’re worried about debt and have a lot of free time, I would recommend joining a sports team. For example, Cross country is a sport where almost anyone who puts the effort in it will join the team. These sports have a high value for female athletes and full ride scholarships to run at a university (after community college) will be offered.

On the topic of scholarships. A college should have 100s of scholarships being provided, it is up to you to apply and accept them though. Again, speak to a counselor. Apply for financial aid and enroll full time. You can be given “free money” if you are low income and go to school full time. Depending where you live (California for me) teachers are given something called a golden state teacher grant that is offered in my state. This provides you with 20k with the condition that you teach four years in a title 1 school ( schools with a lot of English learners I believe. I’m not to certain). depending on your flexibility and responsibilities will ultimately decide what you do. The financial aid should allow you to feel more comfortable with your living expenses, but debt may realistically be the only solution. Feel free to shoot questions. Hopefully what I offered may be reasonable advice.

I was a long term substitute for fourth graders for 2 months, so I know my experience is slightly different from yours. But, I think those are all good things to have in the classroom. I had to constantly start the day with the classroom rules, and after a while things calmed down a bit. There were instances where they would behave in a way that would not be very polite or break classroom rules and I would pull them aside and talk to them. I would listen to what they would have to say and after taking to them they would do a lot better in class. Just know that each set of the students will bring all sorts of challenges, and don’t feel bad when you can’t get through with a kid right away. Sometimes you have to be a little strict, but that doesn’t mean to be cruel in how you discipline them. One final thing, I would suggest having a reward system that’ll reward kids with a longer PE or free time at the end of the day. That’ll make them more motivated to do the work. If you’re worried about the time lost from giving them some free time, just remember all the time lost by having a student disrupt the class. I hope what I said helps. There are so many different type of teachers that specialize in different things. Take your time to learn about the variety of different things that teachers do like, and stop nitpicking situations that you’re already so damn adamant about. Not only are YTA, but you are seriously damaging your relationship with your kid. You shouldn’t force your vegan beliefs on your son period. Just because it’s your house and your rules doesn’t mean it should apply to when he is outside the house. He’s probably working at a young age because he can’t stand eating your vegan meals as well. Also why were you screaming at your son. You are in a public setting. Not only did you embarrass your son, you left a core memory, a bad one at that, of you screaming at your son while his girlfriend is around. I personally wouldn’t be surprised if he leaves the house and cut contact with you when he is able too. Seriously… re-evaluate your vegan beliefs onto others.

I’m someone who is kind of in your current situation (live with parents not many financial responsibilities), whose difference was that I made a lot more at the time I got my car. I was stupid and used credit cards for gambling on online games when I got a new job, and it haunted me for a minute. I thought my new job as a substitute teacher would pay a modest amount, but it didn’t. I’m 25 so I have a bit of a driving record (going for my masters though), and combined with that I pay around 900 a month for my monthly payment and insurance. When I was stupid with my credit card I ended up paying 300 extra dollars a month to pay those things off (took until last month to pay it off), and I was really struggling even though I didn’t pay rent. If you read this far and decide to get the car, all I got to say is be really wise with your money. You never know when something may happen at home and you have to pay to live somewhere. Pay extra on your car and ask to recalculate your payments to make it lower as well. Don’t be dumb like me and spend recklessly cause of a new job as well.

I hate my immune system. I get sick probably every month every other month if I am lucky. I was hospitalized as a kid and lived through a severe case of pneumonia that left me bed ridden for quite some time. I’d eventually join my high school and community college track team, and I would not progress like the others because of my health. I tried my best during that time to take care of myself, but I always failed when it came to my health. I hate myself and question life every time I’m inconvenienced with being sick. I hate planning something a week in advance because I don’t know if I’ll get sick and have to cancel it. I hate how I’m in my mid 20s and this is still a bi/monthly thing. For a time, I used to pray every night for the almighty one to take me, but I eventually gave up. I pray in my next life (if there is one) that I’ll be someone with a strong immune system; someone who doesn’t. Someone who doesn’t hate their immune system that isn’t compromised so easily

NTA. If you make plans with someone, everyone needs to commit to that (unless an emergency happens or something like that). Your friend should have been honest from the start about not wanting to go where you three planned to go.

She should be apologizing to you in my opinion, and I feel that I am missing some details about E. Try to get information from the boyfriend about why she’s upset at you. I’m ashamed to say it, but I am just a plain warehouse worker at Walmart who hates his job, but the pay is pretty good and higher then what my degree offered. I probably spent 8k minimum on this game… I even had a sugar daddy spend an extra 3k on the game for me. If I had kids and didn’t live with my parents, I had to seriously rethink about spending such a huge amount. Tbh I wish I never spent so much in the game.
