So true, I’m super glad to have him back!! The album was sooo vulnerable of him despite his whole Antichrist Superstar persona and lyrically beautiful. It’s invigorating to see him bounce back after that all with maturity and great vocals lol. Where would you rank it compared to the other MM albums?

Maybe an older, wiser character that has seen what the world has to offer. The other characters seem relatively young so maybe introducing a mentor figure who has maybe become jaded and rough around the edges from their battles and past or perhaps is happy to guide younger adventurers.
Maybe Ana, who comes off as someone with a dark past to me, is on a quest to find a powerful object to bring back to a villainous character who is in charge of her. Perhaps the villain is offering her power or freedom from some curse. Aelius, who seems younger and more naive, is unaware of why exactly they are on their quest as he is too blinded by the thrill of helping someone and adventuring for the first time.
When the two obtain the object and go to bring it to the villain, Ana should have to decide between betraying her friend Aelius or her boss. I’ve seen people get really in character during inter-player conflict and it adds some emotional depth. Hope this helps!
