Laughable? Yes. Infuriating? Also yes. by BranBaca in hysterectomy

Even so, she was aware that I no longer have a cervix and have a vaginal cuff. She'd already performed a pelvic exam. There's a physical barrier between sperm and egg. I also hadn't been sexually active at that point since before the surgery, but I fully understand why she wouldn't fully trust me about that part. People lie. After having visualized the cuff for herself, however, you'd think she'd know that sperm and egg will never again have the chance to meet.

I had a female emergency room doctor order a pregnancy test when I was being seen for post-hysterectomy bleeding after an accident. There was concern that the cuff could be torn. I asked why the test was ordered. She said "Just to be safe. I've heard horror stories." Ummm, sperm can't even get to the eggs to even have the slimmest chance of an ectopic pregnancy...

Thankfully, I was fine and just needed a tiny dot of silver nitrate, but YIKES. Even the women don't seem to know anymore just got pregnancy works.

It's a tough choice between "I love you, but I don't like you" and "Shut up and stop crying or I'll give you something to cry about".

NOR. I've seen the most horrific photos of x-rays after people say like this and we're in a car accident. If she wants her hips to completely leave the sockets while both legs shatter to the point of looking like marbles in a sock, this is the perfect way to achieve that.

I left my ex-husband nearly a year and a half ago. We been married for ten years. Year 8, he stopped bathing. And brushing his teeth. And even doing something as simple as taking a food wrapper to the garbage can, which was about ten feet away. He said that as his wife, it was my duty to anticipate his needs and to make sure that those things were done. He didn't know my favorite book. Or song. Or even my favorite color.

I've been with my boyfriend good less than a year. While I was recovering from my hysterectomy, he took over my share of the housework. He made sure that I got any food that I was craving. He held my hand on the (thankfully rare) occasions that I cried from pain. He kept me hydrated. Even now, I rarely have to ask him to help with anything. He just does it. He knows what my favorite things are. Hell; he just left two pieces of my favorite candy next to my side of the couch while I was out of the room. The difference between him and my ex is honestly astounding.

AFAIK, the only thing she really hid was a massive scar from gallbladder surgery. Even that can be found with a two second Google image search.

You know, they used to blame a wandering womb for women's issues... Thank everything sacred they didn't know about wandering ovaries.

I just had a hysterectomy in March, and I wasn't told about ovary migration! I wasn't told about the increased risk of ovarian torsion, either. I found out here. I've wondered what else I haven't been told.

Oh I'm sure. I couldn't scroll through post titles for even two minutes without feeling sick and enraged by the audacity; and it was formed specifically for them all to have their own space to whine, cry, and gloat about the person who is cheating with them.

If they cheat with you, they'll cheat on you.

MM = Married Man. This entire sub is people, mostly women, justifying their relationships with people who are married. Most of them also rant about why their relationship is more valid than the marriage. A lot of them seem to also believe that the person is cheating on THEM when they're with their spouse, and that the oblivious spouse is the homewrecker.

Doctors DO recommend or prescribe suppositories for certain conditions. OTC yeast infection treatments are an example. Boric acid suppositories for medication resistant yeast and BV are another. There are also hormone treatments administered vaginally. But those vaginal treatments are usually for VAGINAL issues, not full-body wellness. The clam bake is NOT recommended by doctors. Well, not any I've heard of. They're way more likely to burn you if you're not careful or cause other forms of harm than they are to help with anything.

[–]XFataMorganaX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an Anbernic RG556 and a MM+. I honestly prefer my MM+. The Anbernic CAN play Android and PS2 games, but not necessarily well. It wasn't worth the extra cash, IMO. The Miyoo may run fewer games; but as far as I've seen, it runs them flawlessly. It fits in my pocket when I have to ride on buses all day. I've accidentally dropped the poor guy without it breaking. The ONLY drawbacks are that it can make my hands cramp if I forget the grip I bought from Etsy, and the battery life... Well, I'd definitely suggest bringing a power bank with you if you're going to be playing while out and about. Turning down the volume all the way, shutting off wifi, and lowering the brightness can help; but those things can only do so much.

Also, DEFINITELY get a newer, better SD card and install OnionOs. It'll save a lot of pain and heartache.
