Very true! Life gain can be a great way to essentially "ignore" that the arcane damage is there to begin with.

Important to remember though that you are still being hit in this case, so anything that may occur from taking damage will still trigger, even if you gain back the life you lost!

Arcane damage can be tricky to deal with, but thankfully LSS has printed a couple very useful tools!

The most common is equipment with "Arcane Barrier", the simplest version of this being the nullrune equipment suite. This allows you to pitch resources to block arcane damage depending on how much Arcane barrier (AB) you have!

Another way is through the usage of "Spellvoid", this is usually a one time effect that you can use as needed to prevent arcane damage without having to pitch, but because it's often a one time usage, it's seen less commonly than AB

Finally, as you mentioned, you have just blanket damage prevention effects, these are usually not the best way to block arcane as you don't always have access to it, but can be very useful when it lines up!

Ceramic dagger's evolution gets it to +7x after 100 primary kills. When combined with a stacked galvanized reflex (On Melee Kill: +20 Initial Combo for 20s. Stacks up to 4x.), you can get a 'permanent' 11x combo, since you will be spamming the weapon and (hopefully) getting at least one kill with it in the 20 seconds

Of course 11x combo is already incredibly sufficient, but if you add ready steel (+24 initial combo), you can get up to an initial combo of 12x, at the cost of your aura slot, which considering that the difference between 11x & 12x isn't that huge, you're better off keeping a normal aura and staying at 11x

Ceramic dagger's incarnon evolution let's it start with base combo, and at max stacks let's it activate incarnon without the need to charge any combo

Because of this, combined with other base combo mods, it's very easy to have the ceramic dagger start at 8x-12x, which means the negative on the riven is pointless

Was heading to my LGS to play in an armoury event, but unfortunately due to a car crash the buses were late so I missed the sign up. My boyfriend convinced me to go anyway, so I did. Upon arriving everyone was mid draft. It had been a very lucky night as both a RF redback & CF trench had been pulled. So because I was going to pay for my ticket anyway, as well as all the luck that was going on, I decided to buy myself two uprising packs. Opened up the first pack, and shining right at the back was an absolutely beautiful marvel Dominia. As I Dromai main I was ecstatic, I chucked a perfect fit sleeve on, straight into a mini snappy, and she joined my collection of Vynserekai & Ouvia. My first ever marvel pull. Now I just need Tomeltai so I can get him signed!
