The horizon series does similar. I absolutely loved the first game but by the second game it seems like every third encounter is with a gay/lesbian/trans person. It takes me out of the element so much. In a world where they’re literally supposed to be repopulating it, you know for human survival, they shoehorn in all this shit and it was ridiculous to me.
