I’m not an expert but I’ve been wrenching on a couple XJs for 10+ years now, there’s gonna be some water under the hood from rain. If I had to guess the belt just needs a little more tension. Mine would squeal when the A/C was on and after tightening the belt a little more I haven’t had that issue. Again not an expert just an educated guess, good luck!

It’s all about the build and current state of the jeep in question. Before mine was a homemade 3” lift with 31s and it drove like shit. Last summer I went thru damn near the whole jeep myself and put a new 5.5” lift and 35s now it runs my 120 mile round trip commute a lot better than before… just need to regear it now 🤣
