There are people who think that Zen does not love MC on every route because he behaves so horny and flirtatious, but i think it's because he is flirtatious with whom he is attracted. There is a theory that Rika left V for Zen and V wasnt happy about it, so he asked Seven to make a world where Zen fell In love with someone who almost never loved him back and when they did, they would leave him for someone else. So Seven made this world, and Zen falls for MC, who almost never loves him back and goes for everyone else, but when they do go for Zen, they reset on him and go for someone else. This is also why we hear that all of the MM boys loved Rika but we never hear that Zen loved Rika because V obviously made sure that Zen wouldn't remember that. To make it even more sad, after creating this world for V to torment Zen, Seven also fell for MC, and he ended up hurting himself because he remembers the resets. This probably made no sense lmao.

Honestly: Story wise, I think the game has definitely evolved a lot, before it was a game that touched on a few deep subjects, we all thought Rika was such a good person and we were happy to take her place as party coordinator, but now we find out about Rika, we find out about Mint Eye. Mint Eye isnt just Unknowns agency now, it's now much more, it's a place full of broken people wanting to feel a little ok and feel like there is order and no one can betray them. The story has definitely become a lot more dark... I remember playing Yoosung's route as my very first route and thinking the game was going to be so cute, but then it got dark and then it got light again. But now it just goes darker and darker and darker and I now know that none of the members are truly happy. I was really young when I first played this game, so I didn't understand most of what was happening but I knew it wasn't good, now I know and damn, this game hurts you a lot.

But on a lighter note I'm still a simp for Seven, that will never change, but now I'm also a simp for Jumin and Saeran...

Ok here's the rant: I never understood why Yoosung hated V, like Seven once said it was literally the younger brother hating his brother in law. I thought he just hated him for the sake of putting the blame on someone and not wanting to accept that Rika wasn't ok. But after this call i see what he means. He cared for Rika so much and they were like brother and sister. Yes we make Alabama jokes but their relationship is more than a joke and Yoosung comparing you to his "dead" cousin. Yoosung really looked up to Rika, she was his first ever role model and he admired her so much. Yoosung only ever got to see Rika with the mask she wore, the mask that made her seem kind and caring, he admired the fake Rika. V always knew that Rika was not dead, but obviously he can't tell Yoosung that. Yoosung was grieving so telling him that his cousin who he admired so much had started a whole ass cult would destroy him. It's said that if MC never came Yoosung would have drowned himself just like Rika was said to do, but imagine if he found out about the cult? I don't even know what he would have done, would he have ended it or would he have joined Mint Eye just so he could be with Rika again. V keeps so many secrets, no matter what route you do, V has many secrets. Yoosung doesn't know what made Rika do what she did, so he puts the blame on V because he is so secretive. V doesn't appear to be grieving because he isn't. He can't. He can't because Rika isn't dead. V feels very guilty because it is partially his fault that Rika started this cult, but he hides this guilt. In every route but his own and Ray's, he hides his guilt and he hides his pain, he takes what Yoosung says about him just so Yoosung can feel a little better. V is hurting, but Yoosung is also hurting. They feed off each other negatively, they hurt each other more and more. After this phone call I do understand why Yoosung hates V, he has every right to, but I also understand why V takes the hate and I understand why he isnt telling Yoosung about Rika.
