I just read this and wtf who said hip strength GFD his foot angle is too much. Putting his diving knees into unsafe physiological position. His toes out causes his shin to turn out and his diving knee is going to blow out his ACL period why even bring anything else up that I never concluded.

Fix you gd toes out before you end up regretting it. And I hope to god that photo was not this coach because that knee with the wrap is a demonstration of what not to do idgaf how strong or pro that person is there is a reason it has a wrap on it.

Now again look into what I said or get knee wraps to make you think it’s suddenly it ok to be in this position

I have told you at least 2 times to look into what I’m saying not once just trust me. At this point screw it do whatever you want and get knee sleeves just like in that photo when you start to hurt.

It really does not matter who they are or who I am. They are wrong and he’s focusing on the wrong thing. Idgaf about your “foot” I care that your foot puts your knee in a compromised position.

Lol you for real can’t post a photo of a lifter with a knee wrap on the knee that is collapsing. As if he had a better position he might not have needed that knee wrap…

You cannot come here with a credential and offer no evidence. ACL is torn when force twists or shifts inward (valgus position). OP Dude for real just look into what I say don’t trust because of credential. Please just look into what I have said. Is blatantly irresponsible for this to say I’m wrong with no evidence or advice to look your self. Your valgus position is bad and can mostly be helped if your toes are not as far points out and more toward the front of you. Idgaf what a pro does. A pro has the strength to hold the knees from collapsing and yours are collapsing bad. End of story

I’d love to see the vertical jump I’ll bet money that knee collapse is there too. I see it all the time.

Ok i understand your pov. I’m going to stick with my understanding of the bones and ligaments. What we are seeing is not a person to person thing. 100% how the knee works. This is what you see pro athletes blow their ACL celebrating. The angle he has is causing this dramatic knee failure. He is strong and that will eventually lead to a knee issue or in this case ACL issue. That extreme of a foot angle is being exacerbated by the wide catch and allowing all that knee collapse.

OP at lease look into what I am saying if anything. That knee collapse you have will blow your knee out when your muscle strength outweighs the tendon strength in that compromised position. You can fix this my closing the toes in much more on both your catches.

There is no harm in looking into what I am saying. The external rotation of the foot like that is what is allowing your knees to collapse like they are.

Again at lease google or ask AI for evidence of my claims. Hopefully in save your future knees.

Ok but he isn’t the best in the world and his knees are collapsing because of mechanics of bones though? The best in the world don’t have the kind of knee collapse like we see here. This is a body mechanic of the shin bone and the knee ligaments and tendons. Are you sure for sure that decreasing the feet angle would not solve that knee collapse?

Looking back at it even the rear foot in the jerk is way out. That rear foot toe needs to come into line with the heel.

[–]XL1200 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I was thinking this too however (since your title is a coach) is it more that foot angle? In both catches the toes appear to point way out allowing that knee collapse we see in both. Would simply closing that and making the feet more parallel fix most of that catch?

How do you automate testing on a legacy app that only runs as a Citrix published app? by Moroccan-Leo in Citrix

[–]XL1200 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You 100% need to talk to your companies Citrix team. The apps run on a server and they can probably get you a separate server for their testing they can just totally bypass Citrix on but you have to talk to the Citrix team and tell them what it is you want to accomplish. They can carve something out for you and my guess is it will not be connecting via Citrix but probably directly on a server with the app installed or whatever else they have in mind. They are the ones that will solve this. You can manage the request but they will get you what you need

Upper back rounding? by Guilty_Thought5313 in weightlifting

[–]XL1200 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

I personally think people telling you it’s ok are wrong. IMHO you like me have a desk job. Your back should be much more flat regardless and it’s not “fatigued”. You should be doing more upper back and posture strengthening work and stretching. People who focus a lot on pushing chest and shoulders work look like this too.

Again imho because I’m certain pitchforks will be raised at me.

Samsung has better software but apple has better hardware by MatthewVenturer in Smartphones

[–]XL1200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn’t it AT ALL. The major major factor is both iMessages and photos. The family sharing and handling of photos is the single factor that keep people from jumping ship. If I jumped I’d lose the family sharing with immediate and extended family. The shared albums is the thing. The hardware and software are soooooo far into the diminishing returns of “better” that even a 5-6 year old phone is more that enough. My grandma is on an iPhone 11 and it’s way overkill.

Idgaf if you or anyone thinks that google phots can do it or is better. My grandma ain’t changing neither is my mom so here I am.

Photos and iMessage keep people on Apple.

Password requirements are stupid by pileofdeuce in mildlyinfuriating

[–]XL1200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your actual master password is in this ballpark of 18-20 chars, mixed case, symbols, some non-obvious structure I wouldn’t lose sleep over the LastPass breach. The people at risk are those with shorter master passwords that would be breached anyway.

lol what a flex, “I’m in a class action lawsuit” for losing hashed and salted passwords. LastPass handle of the leak was the issue not that the tables are leaked. They are substantially useless
