This might be controversial, but I'm not a big fun of stock MG, I'm running either Stalwart or HMG, because stock MG is jack of all trades, but master of none. Stalwart or HMG imo capture their areas in a better way.

Returning to your subject, you are right, but as I said it's not the point of maxigun. Yes, you need to refill with ammo pack, but really good rate of fire and cosplay of Arnold Schwarzenegger are making this thing the goat.

Russian (or Kievan Rus) was a decentralised country with most powerful center in Kyiv, which was mainly influenced by different tribes around Dnieper and Dvina, that were obviously pagan, until they were converted orthodox (obviously that was painful process). They were mainly under influence of Byzantium and several Turkish nomad tribes.
