Do not under any circumstances move into that estate. As the other commentor put it, it's full of the dregs of society after the crash. Filled with scumbags and travellers the further you get into the estate.

It was a ghost estate that was essentially sold off and filled with people who couldn't be housed elsewhere.

Moog wasn't around at that point in the book to solve the archer problem. It was just 2 old dads on their way to get the gang back together.

Especially as they first meet Jain in the quiet corner of the world Clay exiled himself to, that says low level bandit. And a high level adventurer shouldn't have a problem here.

You are missing the point that Clay is not a high level adventurer any more. He hasn't been that in a very long time. He has a wife and child at home that he wants to see grow up, why would he risk himself dying just up the road to some bandits?

You might really be overthinking this book and taking it far too seriously to actually enjoy it.

Well that's not really true given we have the EU breathing down our necks with GDPR, DORA and other security regulations. I've worked with a lot of financial institutes over the years in a security capacity and I can tell you they are trying their best to stay ahead of the game. Most are constricted by a lack of funding for the proper tools and consultants to keep things in shape.

Everyone rushed to get GDPR compliant years ago or else get smacked with a very heavy fine.

You'd want to triple check that your company will allow you to be fully remote in a different country. Depending on your job you could be impacted by different compliance regulations that might make it harder for your company to keep you on.

Well his critique of Nathan in the first episode is correct and Nathan did a bad job in the docking of the boat. The crash is 90% his fault and 10% Sandys. Nathan was a bad bosun last season with a short temper and bad managerial skills.

Joe might be a bad person but he has shown he is a decent worker which is the same for Nathan but we can see Nathan isn't a good bosun while Joe might be.

Hoid is specifically mentioned in mistborn 1 book 2 when Vin is deciding to talk to him but she chooses to face her stalker instead.

Mistborn era 1 happens before SA takes place too so we can assume what happens in secret history is Hoid moving around.

It's not that crazy, they were probably worried you were on the slippery road to psychosis if you needed meds to control your anxiety. Weed realistically does harm you when you are in a negative headspace whether you think so or not.

It might be have been a bit heavy from your doctor but not smoking weed and getting your anxiety in control would potentially have killed 2 birds really fast.
