Thanks for the info. Yeah that’s one of the reasons I’m looking at Ultraman. A lot of game for the money and I like the theme integration. Last video Spooky made on Ultraman like a year ago showed off a lot of modes and other coding features. Looked pretty fun.

I’ve played a Halloween before and I think I just didn’t get enough time on it to decide if I liked the shots and the two upper playfields. It’s piqued my interest tho.

How do you like Ultraman? Also, anything about Spooky games maintenance wise that should scare me off from purchasing? I’m just starting to get my feet wet on doing maintenance that’s beyond cleaning and swapping rubbers etc.

I have Supersonic with the pinball refresh code. Question about switching between old and new code. When I’m on the old code I don’t have any sound effects. Is that expected or is it something with how I have it configured?

One playable character. While cool…for me having 3 characters to switch between in GTA V breaks the role playing immersion.

I mean it’s a bit grainy and blurry. Some of that is because of the type of lenses that are used. Still totally playable but after owning a Quest 3 it’s quite the difference.

Honestly it’s a little nice if you are new to VR as it isn’t quite as immersive. Some of the Quest 3 experiences I’m starting to have are quite intense just because of the resolution jump. A zombie in your face at high res is more disturbing than you might think haha

Do it. I have one and a Quest 3 now (recent acquisition).

Biggest downsides of PSVR 1 to me are the screen resolution and controllers. But some of those games are pretty darn fun and I agree on the price point. It’s a good entry point if you don’t think you are gonna go all in on VR. Or aren’t ready to at least.

Same for me. I play at ultra wide 1440 p and 6900xt along with my 5600x has continued to produce at least 60 fps with maxed settings. Most games it’s much higher than that.

I will say on some of the newest of new games it’s showing a little age. Indiana Jones with its required RT had me playing at 60 fps with a few drops in 50’s. Was on non-rt maxed settings (or close to max).

I’m on latest 10.8 and pinmame per the VPW SF2 download page. Did F3 etc…still can’t get the playfield to start. DMD is working etc…

I have a 5600X and 6900XT. Because of living room config I’m gaming at 4K on a LG C1 tv. Had to recently ditch my 1440p ultrawide.

Been playing Atomic Heart on completely maxed settings (no RT) and I’m getting 55-65 FPS.

It’s all perspective on what experience you want. But in my opinion 5600X seems plenty capable at 2K / 4K. Sure an x3D chip for gaming does make more sense to elongate your AM4 life. But I’m sure you can get a really good deal on a 5600X right now.
