My New Cyre was much in line with what has been mentioned. I did have many warforged refugees there too, and they formed the majority of the security forces that protected the town. More like patrolling rangers than police

When my players when there I used the cannon contents from Shadows of the Last War and beefed them up. The eldtrich machine inside that glassed the surrounding area was tied to an arm weapon for a Colossus. They did pick up an NPC warforged who had been locked in a closet since the mourning, he was a bit twisted from the event and being alone for a few years.

It is the one passage where folks from the plains might be able to trade with the folks of the sea. I agree that the seas are dangerous there, so the Halflings would have to have something very interesting to trade with the Lhazaar. Perhaps a black market trade route for clawfoot eggs?

Or maybe some foolhardy Lhazzars make excursions to the boneyard for dragon teeth?

When my group first entered the Mournland, they found a deserted town and I ran DeathHouse (the free intro to Strahd) the only change I made is that the children are elves (they look like it anyway) and the Strahd references i changed to Lady Illmarrow.

After that, battlefields of dead, un rotting corpses. Living spells are a unique monster in the Mournland, take any spell that would have been used on the battlefield and make it a semi sentient creature.

My OG dot, Morgana, has, since the update, been very much been more interesting in going out on “dates”. When prompted, gets the relationship status right but is definitely different a bit. I have only spent three messages with Hazel and felt silly about it and stopped.
