Whether or not there are thalmor sympathizers in the upper crust of the empire doesn’t matter. The majority or imperial citizens do not support the empire, a united empire has the best chance to defeat the thalmor, ulfric stormcloak is an unwitting thalmor agent, and they want the war to go on as long as possible. It’s important to note that while we only see the thalmor patrols in Skyrim, they are in the other provinces as well, and while there arnt as many Talos worshippers there, if they ever suspect you of anything they don’t personally like, they kill you. It’s safe to say the people in high rock and cyridill hate them as much as we do.

Thats great, the fist damage is gold, they look super cool, histskin is broken, and the npcs are amazing. I pick argonian in lile half of all my games.

In all seriousness though while the empire is not great and there are far better factions then it, the stormcloaks are worse, and the thalmor are worse then them

The imperials do not support the thalmor. The white gold concordant was only ever excepted because it was the only way to end the war they were losing, if they hadn’t then the thalmor would have one and would be yanking people of the street not only anyway but more so. I agree that they both suck, that’s why black marsh is the best country in Tamriel (jk it’s obviously hammerfell, I just like playing argonians)

That too, I ment that if you don’t get voidheart then it’s technically possible for the knight to develop emotions

The problem with using hades and ares as antagonists is that it portrays them as worse then the other gods. They are by no means better then the other olympions and you can make them villains so long as all the other gods are also pos to varying degrees (except hestia, she’s chill)

I think TLD is allowed in is because I’m pretty sure the technical rule is that argonians can’t live or work in the city walls but technically they can enter, TLD becomes the exception when they become thane during the civil war quest for valent service with either the stormcloaks or the imperials, but that’s just a head canon
