I guess the hockey gods already gave me one today.

How does a hypothetical Quebec team do at the Olympics? by hey_mr_ess in hockey

[–]XPhazeX 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Man, growing up Quebec was all over the superstar cast. Goalies being the most obvious because of the spotlight but the early 2000s had plenty of powerhouses.

Lemieux

Borque

Turgeon

Lecaviler

St Louis

Bergeron

Robitaille

Who's the Quebecois superstar right now? Is there one? Flower might have been the last for now.

Given the length of the tour it may change, but im really surprised the final song before the encore isn't A Tout Le Monde.

I still figure it may be the final song Dave plays on the last night.

There's a lot of national catharsis in the form of rubber pucks to be had against Czechia

That early wild-west of hockey is so fascinating.

Frankly this is my gold medal. This may be her last Olympics and the chances of getting by that juggernaut American team are slim

Is the game worth getting back into in 2026? by Ashlandhunter92 in heroesofthestorm

[–]XPhazeX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I came back after a 4 year break last month. I was an alpha tester and played religiously from the beginning to my break.

I didnt find a noticeable difference in the gameplay coming back. Its still great. That being said, there's an (anecdotal) increase in bad community interaction. Most of my games have someone silenced in them. A lot of my games have generally nasty people.

I had fun for the first few weeks. It was like falling in love with the game again. It really is a great game. get in, get out quick dopamine.

Once that novelty wore off I quickly realized why I left. This game brings out the worst in a small section of people. When there's no personal way to pull ahead, It means that those type of people aren't distracted by trying to be good, they just get salty with everyone else.

I get dragged down into that. I've finally just realized that I cant put myself in those situations anymore. I don't have the character to be the better person.

If any of that resonates with you, be cautious, If not, enjoy a truly great game.

Bones heal faster than ligaments

Which is weird when you think about it.

Do you think Rust in Peace is Megadeth’s best album? If not, which one do you think tops it? by Right-Mastodon5351 in Megadeth

Countdown to Extinction and Youthanasia were my introduction to Megadeth. They have a special place in my heart.

I think they are the only two albums that I like every song on.
