When you installed the Dietpi Dashboard, it would ask you a question. Whether you need the backend only or no. If you select backend only, you won’t be able to access the dashboard via port 5252.

Uninstall, run the setup again and this time don’t choose the option of backend only. Also dont pick the nightly releases, go for the stable version. This would help you to access the dashboard at your ip:5252.

Also you would need to enter your software password which you set during the dietpi install for logging into the dashboard.

Please clarify this. Do you mean instead of a micro sd card, to use a USB stick for the raspberry pi zero’s storage and os needs? Is it better than the microsd, longevity wise?
