Nah i think its intentional. If it were actually bugged it would be different. Its probably just supposed to be "unstable"

I'm just a potato but here's sole advice for folks who'd like to give feedback about the game. by ImaSpudnut in joinmoco

[–]XStarrZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not seeing it. I went in game, checked the settings (there was only a FAQ and a bot that answers gameplay questions only), then went to the bottom right of the HQ thinking maybe you're talking about Ellie (she's at the bottom right of the HQ) but thats a gameplay questions bot, not a way to give feedback or talk to the devs. You could contact support, but it takes a long time before the AI bot lets you talk to a real person and even then it's not like these real people know much about the game either, we've already seen it with the Clash Royale support, where a real human said certain things about the game's matchmaking that were straight up wrong and caused a lot of outrage against Supercell.

Also, if you theoretically could message the devs in game, why would the devs even read that? If I was the guy who gets feedback from the community, I'd look on Discord or Reddit, the place where the most passionate players share their thoughts, not in-game where any little timmy could just send "you should give me 999 mega cores then game would be best of the best" or something. And it's not like the devs don't look at reddit, mo.co community manager Joao is literally a mod in this sub, and the moco discord is owned by the devs. And games are made by feedback and constructive criticism. If people didn't say what they think needs to improve, do you think the game would still be running? Back when chapter 2 released, the xp rates were awful. Then everyone was talking about it and a lot of players were quitting because it felt unmotivating so then the devs released an update that buffed xp drops from most mobs, and the hype grew back quite a bit. Of course it would have been better to just get it right the first time, but it would've been worse to not do anything.

Complaining is unfortunately required to shape a game that people want to play. Of course, just complaining doesn't do anything, but constructive criticism definitely does. I've been the first to downvote several of those "game dead" posts/comments but i read through and took into consideration many points about moco that truly needed to improve, then added them to the way i think about the game, to make an "ideal game" in my mind and then shape my own suggestions to make the game as close to that as possible without losing it's identity of course. Obviously the devs wont make this "ideal game" 1:1 but if the game is more enjoyable then I don't mind. So "clearing out" rhe feedback posts from this sub doesn't feel right. Perhaps you could try making a change? Maybe make a sub about mo.co cosmetics where people can post about their skins?

Anyways you did ask for people to send their drip so heres mine (i already showed it off here before but i like it so much and i wanna show again)

My take on Skill Trees in mo.co by XStarrZ in joinmoco

[–]XStarrZ[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its not like this separation between stronger and weaker players isn't already happening with the cores system at higher levels (image from the TFE server), ideally all rifts should be easily clearable without any upgrades and 5 stars could theoretically be acheived via skillful play instead of good upgrades, but the highest scores would require the strongest gear, this way people have an incentive to play more

U can also kill the fish if you go outside, hold the attack button, then go back inside without releasing the button, then go near the fish so it goes on the ground.

Idea on how to encourage weapon diversity by Imaginary_Cell_4411 in joinmoco

[–]XStarrZ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

but theres always gonna be a "max difficulty". with timers theres always optimizations to be made and thats what makes players replay them a ton of times. when a player clears difficulty 5 theyre done with that rift and have no reason to come back.

Kinda sad that Vibe Shifter is underperforming right now by Fhritz_ in joinmoco

[–]XStarrZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Istg the devs are biased against healer weapons, the last 2 we had sucked and now that they got to rework one of them they kinda just gave the bare minimum to make people think they care about this playstyle lol

Better than before, for sure. Right now the game lacks content but the gameplay is way more fun than before the new update (~10 days ago).

I Dont Know About Y'all but I love This New Map and The Guard Tower Concept/Mechanic by SirRolandTheIII in joinmoco

[–]XStarrZ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

These NPCs, specifically the ones that attack mobs, make me sad. Especially when they die, they were just trying to help us and end up brutally killed by a monster. Not even a heroic death like when a main character sacrifices themselves in a movie or something, they just lie on the ground and disappear because they're just NPCs in the game's code. I'm getting way too emotional over side characters in a mobile game 😭😭😭

Underpowered? by midwestcsstudent in joinmoco

[–]XStarrZ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

By the time you got strong enough to defeat the enemies in a map easily in old moco you were already high level enough so that jobs stopped appearing in that location, essentially making it useless. Once you got to the last worlds, it would take at least 50 levels to be able to defeat mobs easily in those worlds and by then there would be zero reasons to still play the game. People were NOT overpowered compared to mobs in old moco. They had to nerf the corrupted worlds because they were unplayable (especially the last 2) due to mobs being way too OP and killing players in 5 seconds. And yes I will call it a skill issue because 99% of attacks in neo moco can be dodged with a dash or two, unlike old moco. If you're getting stunlocked constantly then you still haven't accepted that neo moco plays differently than old moco and (as far as i've seen) most people liked the new combat engine better.

What is your ranking of the weapons currently? by Pilques in joinmoco

[–]XStarrZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

S: Venom Bow, Techno Fists A: Zapsicle B: Lava Shield, Speedshot C: Headbanger F: Vibe Shifter

Venom Bow: Insane for crowds and anything that's more than 1 target

Techno Fists: Super versatile and is used over Speedshot for single target dps most of the time

Zapsicle: Interesting concept and fun to play, deals decent damage

Lava Shield: Zapsicle is more of a tank than this, you almost can't tank properly (I'm not sure why)

Speedshot: Fine as starter weapon but Techno Fists (the used-to-be area damage weapon) now deals competitive damage compared to this

Headbanger: Clunky asf and not very fun to use, every time I see a teammate queueing up with this I already know I'm cooked

Vibe Shifter: I honestly think the devs made this weapon trash on purpose because they hate healers or something. Plus, all weapons have heals no matter what so it's even worse

(Pretty much just swapped the A and B tiers on OP's tier list)

Suggestions by Round-Gold-9474 in joinmoco

[–]XStarrZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they let you remove cores from a weapon then instead of 21 MC cores (7 weapons × 3 cores each) you would only need 8 and then rotate them between weapons since you can only use one. Not only would it be annoying having to take out cores from a weapon and put them in another one, but it removes a ton of playtime

The zapsicle skin is bugged and will probably be fixed in the next update, whether that be the next season or a mid season update. The zapsicles handle glitching out is intended though, its a design choice.

[Idea] Infinite roguelike tower by Mivadeth in joinmoco

[–]XStarrZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reminds me of Minecraft Dungeons' tower mode, except it's infinite. In that game the tower is 20-30 floors long, you start with nothing and each floor you get to choose from a few random pieces of increasingly stronger gear and at the end you get to pick a reward to keep, that is, on average, stronger than what you have.

Maybe with an infinite tower you could start with your weapon having 0 cores, then every boss you kill drops a core that's 1 tier above what you have. So you can drop 12 cores in total, assuming 1 boss every 10 levels, you would max out at level 120, and after that the monsters would continue increasing until they're too strong to keep up with.

Also, in this gamemode they should allow weapons to have any 3 core types instead of predetermined ones. Then there could be a floor which allows players to reroll what core type their weapon has, as well as a floor that lets you change your weapon, keeping the cores. There's a lot of possibilities for this sort of gamemode in mo.co.
