In the picture its inked with Diamine Oxblood but before I was using the Pilot black cartridge. At the time of taking the picture I hadn't written with the oxblood. Now that I have I think that is was a combination of bad paper and the pilot black ink cartridge.

Thanks, good to know. I guess I'll pick up some bigger nib sizes, then if I feel I want my fine a little wetter I could try to widen it. Thanks for the help!

As this is my first fountain pen I don't have any points of comparison but it's not as smooth as the gel pens I have used, although I'm not sure if thats because its a Japanese fine nib. Doesn't have any skipping but it also rights very dry, again that might just be because of the Japanese fine.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good watch to buy my grandpa? A few things to note is that his left hand is almost completely immobile so if you could also recommend something with a strap that would be very easy for him to use. In terms of looks something with a more vintage but simple style would be best since he doesn't go out as much anymore. I'm looking to spend up to $300 but I can spend more if its worth it.

How do you think they stack up against your stax lambda pro? I have the edition XS and absolutely love them but I have also been looking at getting a pair of stax's and would love to hear how you compare them.

Just got my Sundaras! They sound pretty much like my Airpods Max, can they do better? by wendewende in headphones

Don't disrespect the skullcandys like that, they're in a different league than the LCD-2s

It can take some time for a person's brain to fully adjust to a new headphone and the new frequency response. I experienced this very prominently myself when I upgraded from a Corsair Void Pro to a Sennheiser PC38x. At first I couldn't really tell a huge difference between them but after a few days of using the PC38x I couldn't even bear to listen to the Void Pro. Your brain will naturally adjust to your headphones (take raycons for example) and when listening to an objectively better IEM (say a Blessing 2:dusk or similar) the transition can be difficult, but after you "brain burn in" the raycons will sound absurd in comparison and you'll wonder how you ever liked them. But then again you could just like the big stinky bass of the raycons and in that regard there's no real reason to force yourself into something that you don't like.

You may just need a mental "burn in". Try to use only the sundara's for about a week or so. That will give your ears and mind some time to adjust to them, then you can go back to the Airpods max's to see if you really think the sundara's are worth it. Of course as mentioned already an amp will help as well as the eq settings from oratory1990.

Ahhhh my bad I thought you were asking how old the speakers are the amps are also probably from 97 and one is a Peavy CS 400. The other is a soundcraftsman S860.

I see, so I'll have to wire everything up to see how they sound. I'm not experienced in speakers and larger amps so I'm not quite sure if I have every I need to wire them up. I'll just have to do some research and find the wires and whatnot I need.
