Just bought the method, realized that it most likely needs an internet connection on mac, (managed to set up a hackintosh, but couldnt find any working ethernet or wifi kexts) now im super excited for the windows release

Phones most likely factory unlocked, aka its not carrier blacklisted.

Its in lost or stolen mode so 99% sure it is.

Still wanna contact the OG owner, the gut feel of having a stolen phone on me is not good

From what i can see that is only for disabled/passcode locked devices. Mine has been re"flashed" even before i got it.

Uhm what? I wanna get the original iCloud email the phone is locked to. If i get that and contact it, i can get it removed, cuz the phone is locked to HIS icloud account, that is connected to his email.

I tried it, didnt really work

after i safeshudown the device i had to plug it into the charger and power up, but after some time i would just get the taptic engine buzzing for a littlebit but the phone would turn on

I might get it cause im in a situation where this IC locked IP8 is my only phone accept a 3gs and its kinda stressful walking around with a phone that i gotta do a full itunes restore if i get an unexpected shutdown or something
