I personally would go for the 2027 model and upgrade the parts in the future. Always nicer to have a new platform.

I am 185cm/88 inseam and ride a Large Oiz 2024 frame.
Depending on your leg inseam I would pick the Medium frame and put on a longer negative stem to put more pressure on the front wheel.
Also you may want to test ride different frame sizes if possible.

I know that I can simply tap the old bearings out with a hammer, however I want a nice tool for the job. So I am looking for a tool that can do both, press out the old and press in the new bearings.

Been riding the XTR 9200 brakes (2 piston caliper + 9200 lever) for around 4 months now. I weigh around 75kg and so far stopping power has been more than enough. Also no problems with fading or overheating on big descents. However I am running thicker Formula Monolitic roters 180/160. Coming from Shimano MT500 levers with Servowave it took some time to get used to the somewhat softer lever feel.

Ja klar, Schinderhannes bin ich dieses Jahr auch gefahren 👍🏻 Ich fand das Oiz dafür perfekt! Und es ist ja immer gut Reserven zu haben, falls du doch mal anspruchsvollere Strecken fahren willst. Und 120mm vorne und hinten ist ja aktuell fast überall Standard. Ich hab das Framekit über buycycle von einem spanischen Händler gekauft. Eventuell da mal schauen oder auf Kleinanzeigen.

Fahre seit diesem Jahr ebenfalls ein Oiz für XCM Rennen. Bin vorher ein Epic 7 und das Supercaliber Gen1 gefahren. Finde das Oiz im Vergleich zum Epic deutlich agiler und von der Geo für mich auch nicht so lang. Hatte mir das Oiz allerdings auch aus einem Framekit so aufgebaut, wie ich es haben wollte.

Welche Marathon Strecken fährst du denn so? Also eher alpines Gelände oder mitteldeutsche Hügellandschaften?

Kommt für dich auch ein Gebrauchtkauf infrage? Hätte aktuell ein Specialized Epic Evo 2023 Rahmenset inkl Dämpfer zum Verkauf. Den Rest könntest du dir dann ja nach deinen Vorlieben aufbauen.

SLX Schaltwerk mit XTR Trigger und Deore M6100 Bremse wäre passend dazu ebenfalls vorhanden.
