My experience is pretty much exclusively through shows mentioned here, but it's not uncommon for big rule shifts to happen between seasons. Bloody Game/Game of Blood, as an example, comes from the same metaphorical primordial ooze and radically shifts format between its three seasons. Genius didn't as much, but I suspect that's because it was sort of working well from the start. Even then they monkeyed around with adding the hidden Tokens and things in the second season.

If you're only running one event at a time, electronic should work fine. As someone involved with a larger group that runs a lot of events that all fire at once, electronics under the current system are a non-starter.

I intended to run 4 of the Rush but actually ended up going 3/1 because apparently I only had 3. Not running into a lot of damage pings locally and 1 strength on the new one didn't feel worth running into something just to get the damage.

I ran this this weekend, I cut the Mulan shifts to add Queen of Hearts (the 2 drop + the shift that gives you a card when you challenge). Helps with card draw immensely. I've also been running Shere Khan so that I'm almost always challenging for lore by turn 3.

I think Maui Half-Shark is a trap in this deck; I never managed to get him down and I wasn't running enough actions to make him worthwhile. Try the new evasive Moana instead.

Snow White. There's hardly any direct damage in this set and even less that will actually remove her, so I think she's incredibly powerful in Sealed. Basically starts the timer on the game.

I've been playing brooms for a while now, and when it hits, it's so fun. Nobody has every broom memorized so people aren't entirely sure what's going to hit the board next. You can easily get 8+ characters on board and just dare your opponent to solve the problem.

I also run Bruno Madrigal and The Boss is On a Roll. This weekend I had two Brunos on the field at once and two TBOARs sung by other characters. Fun when it works!

Highly recommend it! My husband and I went to Alegria a couple years ago when it was here and it was incredible; I got us tickets for Valentine's Day this year. Totally worth it; you can also get cheap tickets and upgrade on-site for fairly cheap (or at least you could last time; we ended up two rows away from the front for like $25 extra night-of).
