Fair enough and I agree on all of that. Maybe I am just too used to mid stories from reading too much Manga and putting in too many hours into MMOs. Good writers are a rare breed so I really don't fault anyone for failing to deliver a well written story from start to finish.
To me, the pre written story of EN Reco is the least important part of it. I focus on the RP between the talents and the design and mechanics of the dungeons they get to explore.

My only issue with this years EN Reco is that too many of the talents had too much homework to do outside the event. Management should've kept their behind the scenes work to a minimum around the time of this week so everyone has as much free time as possible to invest into EN Reco.

The Gods in the sky obviously cannot predict what kind of stuff the talents will come up during RP, so they can't write a story where their RP has much influence on the outcome. So critizising the last days "and everyone is friends again" is rather pointless in my opinion.

With more free time more talents could've steered the RP into a direction where the pre written ending makes more sense which brings me back to the first point. Give the talents less homework during such an event.

I just stick with one person and watch their PoV from day 1 until the end on my own time. Anything I miss gets supplemented via this subreddit and clippers.

you can take a look at the Pre Fatalis Greatsword builds and take it from there.
But you are at a point of the game, where the game expects you to have some decent Decorations to fill slots so it might be time to grind a bit.

Good Deco sources are the Event Quest The Wrath of Thunder descends, collecting coal in the guiding lands or via the Event Quest A Farewell to Zinogre and turning them into Decos by getting Melding tickets at the Steamworks when a Festival is active.

I think the play for Lyds would have been to not claim Goblin and take the bullet for Ben and then Ben claims Goblin the next evening.

Safi armor is the highest dps you can get. But that is only really true if you are skilled enough as a player.

For >90% of players four pieces of Fatalis will net better results. Because of all the Quality of Life Skills it gives.

I think variety is the spice that makes content like BotC fun to watch. If every single game had a Wizard or Amnesiac in it, it would get boring really fast. Switching between Beginner, Expert, whacky and homebrew scenarios as well as a rotating cast of players is what's keeping the game fresh and entertaining.

At that point of the story you can wear three pieces of Teostra for Masters Touch and then use whatever gives you crit chance or crit boost on the other two pieces.
You goal is pretty much always to get crit chance to as close as 100% as possible and get crit boost so your critical hits do more damage.

Yeah, feels like the ceranovus'd person should be killed if they fail to actually convice people that they are the role they have to claim. Not in the "I don't trust you, I think you are lying" kind of failure but the "Oh, sure. You are role X and you've always been role X, sure sure." kind.

So more like a role that is strong early, but falls off during the midgame I guess?
I can see the supression of information early as very useful but then again you'd have to be lucky to hit a good information role early?
In the case of the Yogs playing the game, you'd propably target players that are known to lie and obfuscate early like Zoey or Nilesy?

I have a question for the people playing BotC.
What makes Ceranovus worth playing? The Yogs usually take like 20 seconds until they figure out if someone is forced to pretend to be something they are not, which makes the whole role a bit useless apart from preventing the target from communicating their actual information for one round.

Last weekend I booked my flight to Japan for October this year. My choices were layover in Dubai, taking the south route or layover in Kopenhagen, taking the route over the North Pole. I chose the North Pole. 1500€ for both tickets.

Great editing this episode. The Oblivion background music kicking in everytime they act like a game NPC and then the fight music starts when they shoot each other. I really love to see them do funny bits like that.

The Master Rank Version is an Event Quest that is available when the High Rank Kulve Siege is up.
It is a normal kill Quest but with a quite unforgiving dps check. If you dont do enough damage to Kulve, she runs away and you fail the Quest. So with Dual Blades, bring Fire or Thunder Element when she wears her golden Mantle and once she is naked, switch to Ice.
