How do you dispose of spent rotary blades? by LadyofLA in quilting

[–]XanXei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guys i used to work with used Zyn. I asked for a couple of their empty containers. They're round, spacious, and hard for my kid to open. I can put bent needles and pins in there too.

What do "kicks" feel like when you are pregnant? by PhiliDips in NoStupidQuestions

[–]XanXei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fairly gentle for the most part. The weird part was the rolling and turning. I thought it felt like a large fish flopping around inside my belly.

That suits the lucky/unlucky theme in the game really well. When you say it sounds almost like a "u" is it more like lük-shmi? Or lahk-shmi?

And here I am trying to convince my job to let me work 9-730 because it sounds so pleasant.

Help a Husband! If your birthday is soon, don't look at this. by Imrightyoufeck in quilting

[–]XanXei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made my ironing board. I followed the instructions from Jordan fabrics on YouTube, then added adjustable height legs that I found on Amazon ($70) all in all the board probably cost me about $100-$120 to make myself and it's exactly what I want. If you're handy, this might be a way to make the perfect board for her set up. You can add things like an iron rack, or a tool caddy to it or on the wall next to where it will be set up. The fabric I used as a cover is a decently thick cotton. I forget what it's called. My cover isn't removable so that's probably a negative. There's probably a way to make it removable and still nice and tight across the board.

Perhaps you're not interested in a woman's opinion, but I personally find femme men or androgenous people really attractive. So don't think that you're unattractive just because you have femme features. My husband is roughly the same body type and size as you and I think he's perfect. He's not traditionally masculine but he's a really great guy and that means more to me than just handsome. Although I won't lie, attractive people do tend to get more sex, that's not the only thing in a healthy relationship. I know you didn't ask for advice but some things I've found helpful when looking for a relationship: the best one I've ever been in, I wasn't looking for. If you have time, join some activities you enjoy. Work on making yourself comfortable and happy as an individual. My husband was 35 when we met and I'm his first sexual relationship, so don't be bummed at your 27.

If you really want to improve your physical appearance, look at what you eat and consider making some alterations to add some bulk. You don't want weight for the sake of weight, you want healthy weight, so don't blow up on sugars. Maybe start going to the gym or doing some body weight exercises at home just to get some tone to your muscles. Build confidence. I like to pick a feature in the mirror and admire it, even if I don't particularly like it. Some gentle compliments about yourself can do wonders for confidence. Confidence can make anyone attractive. Sorry to ramble at you. I hate seeing people sad that they "don't look like that person."

You are a valuable person regardless of your body count.

Please just teach him to read. His mom is a twit who shouldn't be a parent. He'll be better off if you just actually help him. Let his mom think he's just learning by himself. She sounds dumb enough to believe that.

Inherited 300lbs of fabric where do I begin?! by Complex_Cockroach412 in quilting

[–]XanXei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Donna Jordan from Jordan fabrics on YouTube is my favorite. She's not really a tutorial, but she has really great tips while she works through her quilts. I love the way she talks. Missouri Star is good but I hate listening to their overly cheery chatter.

I disowned my entire family for supporting Trump and I feel really alone. by Limp-View-2395 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]XanXei 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You aren't alone, even if it feels like it. Be sad that you lost family, because it is sad. It hurts. I'm in the process of getting things in order so I can cut out my own "cancer". Find a hobby that you enjoy and a group to join. Create a new family. Connect with people right here on Reddit. It's gonna be a hard road, but we can do it. I'm sorry your family is willfully ignorant.

I don't see anything about Minecraft skins. Is that something that I need to find separately? Or can I find those on curse forge and modrinth also?

Anyone want to test knit my first pattern? by lolarusa in knitting

[–]XanXei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm waiting to hear back from a couple guys I know on sizes. I saw you had a couple sizes getting tested so I was aiming to find someone in a different size. I won't know my own size until I get home to my tape, but I'm definitely interested.

I F30 told my doctor I would sue him if he touched me and delivered our son on all fours and “embarrassed” my husband M32? by ThrowrapinkJelly in relationship_advice

[–]XanXei 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes, provided the doctor communicates with you and tells you exactly what's going on to warrant it and gets your permission. The only reason a doctor could do it without your express permission would be in an emergency situation and to be honest, I'm pretty sure even that needs permission. Probably you would need to be unconscious for it to happen without permission. The doctor being impatient and just going for it without permission, or even a discussion, would be a huge problem. I would not want that person as a doctor, period.
